Sorry you’re sick! Try to keep hydrated as much as possible. Possum won’t hurt ya; they don’t get rabies and they will eat ticks and other bugs. Maybe bring in the food before dark. I would be more worried about a skunk..,lol I love your new chest, it’s beautiful as it is, but you always know how to make things prettier. God Bless, and get well soon, girl! Darla

Stephanie, please look up mothball toxicity and how it can affect dogs and cats. If we leave food out of course any animal is going to see it as an opportunity if they’re hungry. Having possums around is very beneficial because they eat lots of ticks and they are immune to rabies.

Absolutely on the possums. They are very important for tick control and I didn’t find this out until recently

Having the possum around will help with ticks and other things..there really a good thing..it was just hungry, poor little thing..gets a bad rap... The mothballs can hurt your cats and dog..not a good ideal.. love the chest..great find for sure.. I hope you guy's have a wonderful week..

Yes, it's pretty miserable. I have it right now as well as my parents and my brother. Timmy is negative so far and I'm hoping he doesn't get it. Seems like everyone is sick lately.

Thank you Stephanie for sharing your Amazon favorites. I especially liked the electronic candle lighter and the crystal cut glass dispensers that you put your coffee syrups in. Those are so pretty. I really like the dresser you bought. Old English makes a furniture polish that covers scratches. You might try that before going to all the work to sand the piece down. I love that type of furniture, it's like your hutch. The furniture type is Early American and it's built to last a lifetime. I have it all throughout my house. A lot of the pieces were inherited. It's very warm and cozy looking furniture. I say that, it may be because I grew up with that type of furniture. You can find pieces that go with it at resale and antique shops. I have bought several bookcases that aren't real big that fit nice in a corner or beside a reading chair. You can put crocheted scarves on top and a lamp or whatever you want. I hope you enjoy your new dresser. I am so glad it fit in your Mom's SUV. As always Timmy's singing is so pretty. Bless his heart, he looks like he was in a bar fight. Stephanie I have a possum who visits me at times and eats my cat food too ! I have a small building with a little pet door my son put in for me for my cats, I opened the door one night and nearly had a heart attack! There were the eyes staring back at me , believe me I slammed that door shut and went inside! Thank you for sharing some of your favorite things, I get good ideas from them.
