You are definitely NOT a lazy person !! Life just gets.. complicated.. sometimes. And, it takes time to recover your physical strength. Give yourself a break, girl !! Not many people could handle the obstacles that you do, especially with the grace, and sweetness, that you do !! You, and Timmy !! are such an inspiration for so many of us ! Hi Stephanie ~ I love how the living room looks ! Great job. Small places are hard to change around. I have many rooms, but they are all small! And windows or door on every wall! Always a battle. Fatigue will be long lasting with that virus. Taste and smell, Google how to restore them . My daughter used essential oils. I think there was only 4 or 5 they recommend. It is weird - one for the smell of “fruit”, one for “flower scents” , one for household smells.. etc. And it is a quick little smell like 3-4 times daily. Nothing hard. It worked. Hers was gone for 5 months! Her husband was excited, he could order extra HOT chicken wings and she would eat them….nothing 🤷‍♀️ Of course it is no fun not tasting though. Hers was through Thanksgiving and Christmas when everyone makes their “specialities”…LOL I like your black wall and love how the bookcase blends in. But certainly can related to making changes and I like your idea you mentioned. “Victory in Jesus”…AMEN TIMMY !!!! Amen !!!! How blessed are we who understand the greatest of that meaning ! Love singing along with you! A sincere…sincere Thank You for doing that for us ! It means more than you know. I really like the new furniture arrangements. Everything you have done looks just amazing! You and Tim have such a nice home. Congrats on getting the pantry doorknob!😂👍 Personally, I like the darker color on the wall behind the TV. That way, the I see that the TV isn't just this big black rectangle in the middle of the wall. That's just me. I have a maroon accent wall behind mine. Perhaps a different color, or since you like touches of wood tones about the house, what about panels of wood stained bead board? I'd paint that white door. That sort of jumps out at you while the wall is dark. That's my two cents worth. I'm sure that others have even better suggestions.

Yes! The fatigue does seem to linger. As far as taste and smell, when I had it last year I gargled with white vinegar and the next day my senses came back. I had seen alot of people talking about “shocking” them back. Some used vinegar and some did really sour things like lemons and limes.

Hey Stephanie!! ☺️ Glad you’re feeling better and so glad Timmy hasn’t gotten it. My hubby and I both had it and neither of our boys got it, so prayerfully Timmy still won’t. I got really tickled when you were talking about ALL the barstools! I saw your Instagram story, and laughed….how do you go from one barstool to four in such a short period of time?!! 😂😂😂😂😂 I guess if you’re not crazy about the finish, you could always put some gel stain on them to change the color a tad, but I think they look nice. I really like the rug changed around, it really does make it look bigger….I think it’s because it elongates the room. Man I wish I was a little closer, I’d help you move furniture we could go to Target and get your shelves and have all kinds of fun! Hope you have an amazing week! I’ll be helping my parents, my mama fell and hurt her hip, thank God it’s not broken, but she can’t walk from all the inflammation…..but it could’ve been SO much worse! Hi Stephanie, I wanted to answer your question regarding dust under your lovely rug. The dust filters down through the rug over time. There is nothing you can do to stop this natural process. Vacuuming slows the accumulation, but will not stop the process. I like the different stools, and would encourage you to NOT paint them - the natural wood is desirable and adds to the ascetic appeal of your decoration style and flare. The layout is excellent, and I like the changes you have made. I also agree with the idea of bookshelves on either side of the TV. But I would recommend you consider shelving that would allow you to go all the way across the top. Placement of valued treasured books and a few natural items would be lovely. To lighten the area (bookself across the top) consider placement of a mirror would add light without additional painting. Don't paint the dark wall until you have your cabinet fireplace. Once that is in place you will have a better idea of what you'd like. Blessings!!

Please repaint the black wall! I have never been a fan of black accent walls. Pick one of the colors in your beautiful rug to go on the wall. A lighter color will make the room seem bigger. On a completely different note, I hope the flooding in Kentucky has not affected you. Stay safe. I love your house.

I really like what you have done with the living room. I would recommend painting the black wall...perhaps a lighter color but a bold statement. I think that would set off the shelves that kind of disappear against the black wall. Maybe a burnt orange (soft, not glaring) to bring out the color in your rug. I know you will come up with something beautiful to do with it to further enhance your cozy home. LOVE your channel!

Hey I like mismatch it's like you deliberately did it, it's really ok. And don't paint the chairs there style just wouldn't do it justice. You wondered why so much dust under your rug it's fibers that let loose as you walk across it plus dirt that makes its way thru it too! And mobile homes shift so much that why it seems your trim comes away, that's why they have strips down the wall to keep cracks from forming when it shifts.

I love your home. It is so cozy and beautiful. You do a great job with decorating it. I love the idea of the board and batton on the livingroom wall. Maybe mount the TV instead of have it on the TV cabinet? I wondered about turning the loveseat facing the TV now, to separate the kitchen from the livingroom. Might be too squished ? I always love the couch back open to my rooms, if they happen to work. Glad you found the barstool and I agree no paint on them. The wood tones are just perfect in your home.

I can't help but cry when Timmy sings. Those are the songs of my youth...my Mom was a Pentacostal minister, and we had (still have) a family church started over 100 years ago. These are the days they taught us about growing up, and I am so far away from home raising my own family. His song is such a blessing.

OMG I have the same bar stools and matching dining chairs. I also found a matching rocking chair and desk chair but ended up getting rid of it because it was broken. I love the farm house/rustic style. I was hoping to chalk paint them but just haven't had time. It's been 2 years. Lol. You're right about there being variations of these out there. 😄

If y'all are using nails to attach wood facings etc use screws instead then they are less likely to back out!! I love the stools!
