Thanks guys. I learnt a lot from Project X. I had actually looked into Amazon FBA back in September 2019. I spent about US$800 in product/tools/fees/lessons. Unfortunately the product did not sell much and after a year around December 2020, I disposed the entire inventory. It was a good lesson learnt. However around Feb2021 I thought of starting it again but doing it correctly, I learnt a lot from my short FBA failure. Then I found Project X series. I have really learnt a lot. My mistake was that I did not take the time to do product research correctly.

Hope you still answer questions on this thread! First, I absolutely love this series. It’s given me the courage and the knowledge to continue my Amazon journey. I was about to quit due to getting the same advice from every else telling me to find a keyword with 10k + searches etc etc... you guys saved me! Now to my question: I have found a product using the criteria of project X and freedom ticket - and I would really like to set up a test listing but as you can read from my name I’m international. That means I just can’t get the test product send to my house and ship them with UPS which makes it impossible to set up a FBA listing ... However I still have the option to set up a FBM listing and ship internationally - 1. Would you recommend that or do you have other alternatives? 2. You talked about FBA listing getting a bigger advantage in PPC - how big is that and will it completely mess up my data if I continue with my FBM listing? Thanks a bunch you guys are the best!

Hi guys! This was a really amazing project!!! I've followed you from the very beginning and will miss those Monday-Wednesday-Friday appointments!!! You mention a "flying under radar strategy". That's a new concept to me, so I've got 2 questions for AMA on this: 1) How big can be your sales to fly under radar without attracting too much attention? 2) So does it make sense (strategically) to go for high volume keywords at all? I mean won't it lead to "black hat" competition and just to the fact that your product will get "high exposure" and quickly replicated by competition? Please share your thoughts!
@Natural-Causes4 жыл бұрын
I think the biggest takeaway from this whole project X series and my freedom ticket training is that most people “newbies “ is that we often spend way too much time looking for the home run products and end up not drinking the cool aid for a long time. However what I have learned is that even if we launch a product that bombs 💣 it just means our first product wasn’t a home run and that we more than likely just broke even and probably didn’t loose money. However I think most of us think that we will have just thrown 5, 6 or more thousand dollars out the window. Please correct me if I’m wrong Bradley or Tim
@Christina_Smith4 жыл бұрын
The HandyMan I think a lot of people get so hung up on product research that they drop out. Or people look for those home run products and see that it’s not successful or sustainable in the long term. I think if you take a step back and really seek the truth in what is being taught and then see if that protein sharing that knowledge is implementing too - that can inspire anyone to get started. It definitely inspired me and I’ve started to document on KZbin using these methods. How are you getting on?
@Natural-Causes4 жыл бұрын
Christina Smith I am very new to this and have only been researching/interested in FBA for about 8 weeks now, I am currently doing the freedom ticket class and learning from project X. I know with what I have learned about Selling on Amazon that it is no doubt what I want to focus on for the rest of my working life. I do have an engineer mind so I want to know how everything works before applying it to increase the chances of success. I am starting to feel like I have a very good grasp of concepts and the inner workings of e-commerce now so I am close to being comfortable applying it. The final two steps are finding a product to start with and getting the capital together to start this journey.

Hi, I love the whole series and have used H10 for years. But Tim's definition and explanation of ACOS is completely incorrect. Several times (last episode too) he's called it 'Average Cost per Sale' and it is actually 'Advertising Cost of Sales'. Additionally, he states ACOS is 'an average of not just how many purchases you got based on PPC spend, but it also considers organic'. What!?! That is way wrong. Organic sales are not credited to the PPC sales amount in Amazon's dashboard, at least they better not be as it would falsely reduce your ACOS. Only an ad click, for up to 14 day future attribution, can hit that PPC sales number. Go pull some ad reports. Tim is describing TACOS (Total ACOS), where you can calculate TACOS yourself by adding back in the organic sales or using other software tools, but Amazon's PPC numbers don't do that for you. Not trying to be a dick, but you need to redo or clarify your PPC explanation. You are going to stump some newbies. Other than that snafu, good job and keep it going.
@jeffgl4 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too. Not sure where ‘average’ came from. It’s all about the TACOS.

Helium 10 For me personally, as a new seller yet to list on Amazon (product currently in production) rather than a whole load of stuff that’s new to me, it provided a lot of validation. I had already worked out I needed something with good differentiation, high quality and maybe a higher price than the competition to differentiate it properly, and that the old ‘get something cheap that everyone else is selling and stick a logo on it’ is a bad strategy in 2020. So really a lot of the things I had already understood from examining the landscape were validated. Having more confidence going in is what I got from this primarily.
