As a beginner, I'm focused on wholesaling products since it's already established and easier to sell than a private label product even though the margins are smaller. Thank you. Had a question if you don't mind sharing your experience - a lot of product categories I'm finding have an opportunity score of 6 or 7/10, and the rating numbers meet the criteria for low competition yet when you look at the sales or the revenue stats, only about 1/3 of the products on the first page would generate the monthly profit I've personally set out. Is this enough to consider selling that product? Or must you find a category that has at least half of the products with the revenue/sales you set out?

Hello Luana, I'm glad you're finding value in the content! I personally wouldn't. The problem isn't if you have a better design or better product. Hey! New subscriber here, love your stuff and will definitely be watching more. I was wondering, if your focus is finding stellar products within various categories, does branding on Amazon not matter as much? What if you wanted to continue finding quality products (that don't relate to each other) but still want to build a brand with a shopify store? Would you create a shopify store per product, or create an over-arching store that has the brand image across seemingly unrelated products? I'm torn between finding quality products, but losing the potential for holistic company branding opportunities.

Hello! Thanks for your support and feedback, I appreciate it! Branding doesn't matter too much on Amazon because buyers don't look through sellers' stores and pretty much all private label brands aren't well known enough for any one to recognize anyways. Having a brand as a seller helps by giving your access to brand registry, having brand protection and if you have a cool or interesting brand name and logo, it can help add value.

Amazing video, appreciate all of the detail! Once you have a product however does aliexpress or Alibaba provide the UPC for the products you order typically or is that another cost you need to factor in to calculate proper margins for profit?
@CrescentKao3 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you're finding value in the content! No, you need to buy the UPC barcode. This goes over it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWG9oIaIaduFobc

Hello. A restricted products means you need to have permission to sell it and/or you need certifications in order to sell it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXKpfZiditGsmtE

One question I have is say you find a product that meets all your criteria that you want to start selling. What happens after this? What is the next step to actually start selling the product on amazon?

Hi Crescent I have just listed my Private Label Product on Amazon FBA. While this product is picking up in sales, I also want to sell other company's branded products, (I think it is called Wholesale). I want to sell in baby products category. If it is possible, please advise me how to go about it as I am new on Amazon. Thanks. Regards, Christopher
@CrescentKao3 жыл бұрын
Hello. You may need to get ungated in the baby category first and then just create a new listing for the product like you did for your other product.

Wow the time is worth it! Quality content. Can I ask a question please? My employer is asking me to show up with 2 winning products everyday, however not all products meet the requirements and after spending hours I came up with just one. Most of the products have lots of sellers already. How do I deal with this?

Glad you found it helpful. 2 winning products per day? Each one of my products took me around 2 months to find and validate.

@@CrescentKao I'm struggling. I find items with high ROI but no demand. Do you have any tips? They are private label.

From my experience any product you can sell on Amazon to make a $5 minimum profit, someone else will gladly accept $4 profit. Unless your product is unique and can't be copied.
@CrescentKao3 жыл бұрын
Precisely why you need to differentiate. I talk about this in the differentiation section of the video.

Your tutorial is to buy a tool to do it for you
@CrescentKao3 жыл бұрын
The tool doesn’t do anything “for” you. You still need to know how to properly use the tool and do the analysis. It’s like saying by buying a hammer, it’ll build a house for you.
