Hey, I just had to stop during this so I could comment to you. You said something about partnering up, and during your talk about board games, I stopped and remembered I made a board game a few years ago. I could invent an entirely new one, and it would be great if you can help me with it. I'm new to all of this stuff. I'm just starting. I haven't even made a site (or know how to connect it to Amazon, lol), but when it comes to the creativity aspect, that's where I excel. I just wanted to make my own game, and one day I was like "I'm doing it", and maybe a month or two later I actually finished it. I made a fantasy meets Monopoly style game, but I changed so much so it wouldn't be just another copy of the same game. I could show you, but my reasoning for commenting is if you're looking for someone with creative ideas and abilities, I can help. I just need lots of help when it comes to doing something with what I can do. I can barely take care of myself, but I could come up with countless ideas or inventions every day. That's why I'm here. I'm trying to figure out how to make some money. I always struggled with knowing what to do with my ideas or skills. When you said you can make a product and sell it, and that you'd partner up, I just wanted to say that I'm extremely good at figuring things out and making stuff. I could probably come up with an entire game in a day that would be new, cool, fun, exciting, and relevant. I just wouldn't know what to do with it. If anyone needs a guy with talents and brains, I'm willing to network and make level business connections. I make music, but I'm great with computers, design, ideas, inventing things, etc. It's the numbers; the math and financial aspect of things that I struggle with. My brain loves to think and figure things out, but when it comes to logical thinking, I feel overwhelmed and nearly paralyzed, mentally. Thanks for reading. -Chet

@@TravisMarziani Hey, Travis! I actually just found few potential product ideas yesterday, after over 1 month of product research. One of them does not have a high volume of searches but doesn't have any good option on the market, and there's many things that I can improve. Then there's another product that's at the same niche for something that's already selling but I would target it for a different customer group.
@vicd8346
@vicd8346 3 жыл бұрын
@@TravisMarziani I might not end up selling any of them, but at least there's an opportunity for improvement and not that much competition in the niche yet. But mahn those first few weeks of the product research so damn tough, it got easier at some point once I developed a better understanding of what is an opportunity and what's not. But still not many people on the KZbin talk about how complicated it is to find a good product :( As long as you're not planning to be one of those idiots who copy other succesfull seller's product and try to offer it at a much lower price.

So I'm 13 years old looking for a small little job. Though my family is kinda struggling and I really want to find a way to make money. My mom told me to sell things on Amazon but to be honest I knew there was gonna be lots of competition so I turned her offer down. As I'm watching this video it gives me ideas to sell things like dog collars or other sorts of things related to pets because I have a small passion for animals. I kinda want to try this out since I don't really want to work when I'm older so like I wanna work now and have fun in the future since these are the times when I learn so much. I would actually love someone to help me out right now.

My biggest issue has trying to figure out what my dream passion product would be and I've even highly considered joining your course for this but after watching this video I really think you helped me figure it out. I'd love to make a board game and I think the idea of one with the core mechanic being negotiating would be awesome! Hi Travis, your explanation about product research techniques are Amazing and simple to apply. I come up with a product that has design patent, moreover more than 3 sellers has design patent (according to Amazon listing) but all different sellers. Besides these three sellers there are about 10-15 Amazon sellers have the same product. I wounded how the design patent can be issued to 3 sellers ? How other non design patent sellers sell the same product ?

Hi travis, I've seen some of your videos and are great! You suggest to create a buzz even before having your product available that is a good idea to settle expectation! Hello Travis! I've been sitting for a while watching all your videos and am so thankful for your channel. You explain so well, clearly and are very organized. Its helped me learn so much. Thank you. I did have a question though regarding small details. So if you find a manufacturer (for Private labeling) who's product you've sampled and really like. How do I go about getting my logo on the product? (and lets say I'm adding a logo sticker on that product). With FBA I understand that the product can be shipped directly to the warehouse. But at what point do I get to add my private label? Would I need to ship that product to me and add it (or hire someone to do this?) and then get amazon to pick up the product? or would, let say, Alibaba be able to add my logo and ship directly to the warehouse. But some manufacturers don't print stickers? so how would this work. I'm probably missing some obvious details here and so sorry if someone else has already asked this or you've answered already! >__

yes as far as i know alibaba will take care of that part once your request them to do so while placing an order and you can also ask them to send you a sample piece to see how to logo looks on your product.

Travis - can I tell you something. In the first in 2 mins you talked about Amazon being "passive" income. I tell you from selling on Amazon for the 7 years - it is hardly passive. There is no being on the beach while things get on their own. The most successful I know on Amazon --- are workaholic's and nothing wrong with that as long as you know that going in.
