Strongly recommend just buying a digital kitchen scale! That measuring cup will just not be accurate for grams (I'm guessing it's calibrated for water based liquids only). Weighing ingredients can be so much simpler, cause you can just measure things into the same bowl, hitting tare in between each ingredient.
@bubblebrainbow6 ай бұрын
Yes! Also just ask A.I. to convert the measurements or even change the serving size of any recipe! It's so useful. I love being able to half or double recipes without doing the math every time, epic!

I’m a nail tech that only does gel. Using 1-2 coats of builder gel before polish helps with structure and durability(if your nails have ridges or are brittle). I never soak off gel because I hate what acetone does to the skin..I just file off the polish with a 100/180 grit file.(It’s messy, you might want a suction fan or when I’m doing my own nails, I just file them outside)The builder gel helps here too because you’re not as likely to buff off any of the natural nail. Now you’re basically just doing a fill because you’re leaving a thin layer of builder. After you remove the polish, use dehydrator and a protein bond(young nails is the best!)and then apply 1-2 more coats of the builder, followed by your polish & top coat. Beetles polish is a good, affordable brand on Amazon for polish and I like Kiara Sky builder gel 💅🏻 ❤️

I see other people have mentioned it, but grams are a mass measurement, not volume. Millilitres are for liquid (volume) but grams and kilos do weight so that cup might not be too accurate. Like one cup of flour weighs different to one cup of sugar. I know in the US for cooking and baking you use cups so it can be confusing to switch to metric. You’re better off with a little kitchen scales for weighing in grams.
@smkilmer956 ай бұрын
came here to say this. I'm guessing it's based off a gram of water, so grams and mL are probably the same on here. Def recommend a kitchen scale.

I am also apartment living in Florida and recently purchased the “AquaBliss High Output Revitalizing Shower Filter” on Amazon because the Jolie was out of my price range tbh. I had bought the filter because I noticed this orange build up all in my shower and my hair was a nightmare. I asked my hair stylist if I just needed a new shampoo, and she recommended a water filter first. The AquaBliss has been great so far! The set up was super easy and I have been noticing such a difference in my hair and skin. I dye my hair black and have bleached strands with red on them and my hair blow dries so much softer and less frizzy. My skin has been less dry but my hair has seen the most change, and I’m still using the same shampoo as before!

Shower filter user here! 🙋🏻♀ I have hard water in my house. My water is drinkable, but tastes a little weird so we use a Brita for drinking water. When I moved into my house I noticed my scalp was SO itchy and I think I was loosing hair. I also noticed my skin never felt moisturized even after using lotion after the shower. So i went to the internet and looked at shower filters and found out that it could fix my problems so I tried one. I have one off of amazon and it works great! My scalp and skin isn't dry anymore. And my hair is much fuller. I HIGHLY recommend getting and using a filter!

By far, the easiest way to cook/bake/etc is to get a cheap food scale off Amazon and abandon ship on volumetric measurements altogether. It is so much faster just to weigh everything. Even if I’m meal prepping I’ll weigh everything out as I put it in the containers so they all get even amounts. Saves so much time and so many dishes. Been doing it for years, converted my boyfriend the first time he tried it. It sounds annoying but I promise it isn’t.

I use opi dip powder and kyra sky. I use a universal gel base coat and the kyra sky gel no wipe top coat. I have those finger soak bowls, I heat my kettle, scuff the shine off my nails and then put cotton balls in the holes with acetone and rub your nails against the cotton balls. The water is super hot so I don’t lock the lid down, I’ll pull the lid off (with my fingers still inside the bowl) let it slightly cool (still rubbing my nails against the cotton balls) then put the lid back over the hot water. Usually takes about 10 minutes. The biggest Tio for dip gel to not snag your hair is the really work the cuticles off, I buy Pumice stone cuticle pushers off Amazon! Life changing!! And then when you’re done make sure you really file around the cuticle.

You have to try Dazzle Dry for your nails! Way better than gel, dip, builder gel, etc. Its a system (base coat, color, and top coat) that you apply like normal polish. No uv light. It dries super quick and looks and performs like gel but is not gel so you remove like normal nail polish with no buffing and it’s actually good for your nails. I wish I could attach a photo. I used to do my own gel nails and once finding dazzle dry I’ll never go back.

Love your videos Taylor! I used the Beetles gel polish at home and sadly after maybe 5-6 applications (changing every 2 weeks), my nails were really damaged. I would use an electric file to break the initial layer of top coat, soak in acetone, and then scrape off. Maybe if you can remove just the top coat and color, but find a way to keep that base coat intact and just fill in the gap from the new growth, that would help prevent damage? But I am not that skilled lol!
