For normal using simply purchase normal fire stick (for full hd tv upto 40") u will not find any big difference other than retail price, Even after 5 yrs amazon providing latest updates for os, My firestick got updated with latest user interface which are shown in this video.

Faster performance only in terms of easy menu selection smoothness.. if one has the firestick 4k , then compared to that, then upgrade to the max version should wait for a while .. personally not worth the upgrade from 4k to 4k max version.. but ya definitely a worth upgrade if one is using the lite version.. else wait for a while if amazon comes out with a real beefed up version than 4k max. 😁
