Are you selling on Amazon Handmade FBA or does the process intimidate you like it did us when we got started on there?

Thanks for the info. Do you need to duplicate your listings so that 1 will be selling while you send the inventory to Amazon fulfillment center? I have heard that the process may take up to 6 weeks. Also, can you have 2 listings of the same product, one "fba " one " fulfill by seller"?

Great video ! Thank you. I applied for a GTIN exemption and was approved. My question is do I still need a UPC label for my handmade product??
@AmyTannerSkrocki2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Yes you need a UPC for any products being sent into the Amazon warehouse. Amazon will generate a UPC, for free, for your items :)

I have watched a bunch of videos on Amazon university and they hardly have good info regarding handmade. I am stuck at the label/shipping stage because my product does not have a upc and it says it needs to be labeled. Labeled with what?! smh. Thanks for your video.

I make some small items, and want to send in a small box with 24 units, just to test the waters and see how it does. But it won't allow me to enter less than 1 kg for the box weight. Am I doing something wrong? Or do I have to ship a minimum of 1 kg?

Thank you for the video. Any idea if it's possible to have an FBA item automatically switch to FBM if the FBA stock runs out?

Hi Please correct me if i am wrong but the weight that you enter is item after it has been packed right?

I saw the individual scan numbers on each of the packages you were putting together. How do you get though? Do they print once you are finished all the steps on the FBA site when getting ready to send to them?
@AmyTannerSkrocki3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Product UPC codes will be automatically created for your handmade products. In order to get your codes you must add your items through the handmade portal. You can add your items under the regular Amazon, but then you have to purchase UPC codes from a registered supplier so it's best to be registered under the Handmade area. I'm sorry I don't know much about purchasing UPCs. Once you have added your items under Amazon Handmade, follow the directions in the video to convert the items from manual fulfillment to FBA. On the screen when you are choosing the inventory to send, click on the items and the quantity and then click to the next step. Right before Step 1b, which is called "Pack individual units." it will give you the option to "Print all SKU labels." It can be easy to miss if you don't see the link try going back through the steps to see where the option is to print them out. Those are your handmade Amazon UPC labels and you can print them on paper, cut them out and tape them to your products or print them on the regular Amazon UPC labels which are available for sale through this link amzn.to/3f9MZS1 (our affiliate link). You can use a regular home printer for these as well. Good luck with your handmade business!

Great video! Its very informative! Quick Question: Can I link my artisan products from my Shopify Shop to Amazon Handmade FBA?
@AmyTannerSkrocki3 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry I can't answer that question. We individually listed each item then switched from manual fulfillment to FBA when we were ready to ship in to the warehouse. Out of curiosity I went and looked into your question and couldn't find any information on syncing Shopify to Amazon Handmade. But there was information on syncing Amazon to your Shopify store.

Can i ask a question? If you have an azon fba account anywhere you go you can use your amazon fba account? I'm an overseas filipino worker btw. Will reside soon in japan. Let say i went back again here in my home country can i still use my account?

Once I switch to FBA will I still have the option to FBM until amazon activates prime?
@AmyTannerSkrocki3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can do that! Once the items are converted to FBA and shipped, create another offer under the "sell" area and add your manual fulfilment channel. It should come up as a competing marketplace offer. Don't make a separate listing as I believe it that's against Amazon's TOS.

I'M FROM CANADA AND I WANT TO SELL MY HANDMADE IN THE US. HOW DO I SENT MY HANDMADE TO AMAZON FBA?
@AmyTannerSkrocki4 жыл бұрын
Hi Valerie! We have ours set to FBM for the US as we didn't have a US address to have any returns sent to. From my understanding if you don't have a US address for US FBA returns the items are destroyed rather than returned to you. This was a couple of years ago that I checked so they may have changed their stance now but you would need to contact them to confirm. Thank you for checking out our video!
