I am having a really hard time deciding if I should do FBA or FBM because I'm very small time just me I make candles I am in process of getting trademark Ive already gotten approved for both seller account and handmade. After Trademark I'm getting my brand registered. I have also done my makers profile. Another question? How do the UPC work? Do I have to purchase UPC even if its handmade or is that just for FBA? I've done a lot of research on the pros and cons i just wanted to know your thoughts since you've been a actual seller and have experience. Also do you recommend a UPC place to purchase? As a handmade seller you don’t need UPCs even for FBA. There are barcodes for FBA that are separate from UPC. I am going to be doing a series for FBA soon. If you have already applied for trademark you can submit to Brand Registry while it is pending. Going FBA is truly your call. This is the type of thing I am planning on working through with clients in the course. You can also shoot me an email and we can discuss more about what would be best for you!

I would think so! You can pick your brand name and register a trademark without the business name being the same.

So I have items in FBA and some I ship myself. I started with one listing and moved it to FBA. It sold much better with FBA. You don’t need a lot of sales to switch. Some may do better with FBA and some may sell better without. You have to do what is best for you and your products.

Yes you can submit the application from the current account. You just have to keep one handmade listing to retain the Handmade Account status.

You have to keep one listing active after you are approved. You can't create a handmade listing until you are approved.

I am not aware of anything other than Brand Registry,but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist! Amazon is always changing things! You can list without the brand registry. Just be sure to list with a Brand Name and not Generic. Also, if you list put the brand name exactly as it would be on the trademark. You may have to relist your product once you get the registry.

You can definitely sell without a trademark! The trademark just gives you extra protection for your business and access to extra things on the Amazon platform like A+ Content.
