Never use detail spray before applying anything with adhesive like your door handle covers. Instead, use an IPA to wipe it down which is half distilled water half isopropyl alcohol. This will remove any wax or lubricants from the paint so the adhesive gets a better bond to the paint.

@@sapphire_m340 It's applied using Paint Protection Film. It's a thin clear plastic film that gets applied to the front end of a car, you can have It applied to whatever you want covered. The three most frequent applications are partial front end (covers the front bumper, headlights, about 18-24 inches of the hood and fenders, and your side view mirrors), second Is a full front end (that's similar to the partial front end except the entire hood and the entire fenders are also covered), third option Is full coverage (that's simply covering the entire car). I'm personally getting either the partial front end or the full front end covered. The benefits are that It prevents any damage from scratches and rock chips when driving fast on the highway. It also protects your paint and headlights from the sun. If the PPF gets oxidized on your headlights you simply remove the PPF and get It re applied and your headlights stay looking like brand new. It needs to be replaced after 5 years or longer If It Is taken care of properly. I'm getting some applied since I drive on the highway a lot, I've driven less then 1,200 miles and I already have 5 rock chips from what I noticed. I also like to go on road trips and I like to go camping so I need the extra protection. Make sure to ask around for quotes, some places can be pricey, but that's because they are used to working on expensive cars. Make sure the shop you go to has some good reviews. I got quoted $675 for a partial and $850 for a full front end.

I also have the grip holders for my civic and the key fob cover. The grip holder shrinks due to the heat. Like for the center console under the radio, it gets loose and isn’t fitting in place anymore. I had it for about a year and half. I like the idea for the door carbon fiber cover
