Hi...you will receive your payment by cheque...the cheque will be issued in the name you provided and sent to your address. There is no cost attached. Remember it's print on demand so when someone purchases your book on amazon...amazon takes their payment first and you receive your percentage from the purchase...hope this helps

WAIT, if you choose the option: I could not/have not obtained TIN from my local authorities because of other reasons. then you see this: If no TIN is provided, any reduction of the 30% statutory withholding tax rate applicable to your U.S. source payments will not apply. So you will make much less money then you should if you provide a TIN. I advise to get some sort of TIN

Hi... being paid less only arises if your sales are within a certain range...if sales increases and you can always update your information and include a TIN. Thanks for viewing...hope this was helpful

Hi yes you can...or if you have an alternative for a TIN in your country you can include same...but I recommend just selecting I have no TIN...hope this helps and thanks for viewing

Hello I am an Indian immigrant living in the UK ( London) I want to publish my book about diamonds but I don’t have a TiN number . I have a NI number ( national insurance number , which I received from the government of Uk ) some say that the NI number is same as TIN number , but I am confused . If I don’t enter my TIN number and proceed without it as you said , I will get paid less ? Any idea about this ?

Hi if you have the NI Number that can be used...but you do have the option to proceed without TIN...being paid less only arises if your sales are within a certain range...if sales increases and you eventually decide to use your TIN or NI Number you can always update your information. If you do not have tax info for your country...amazon gives you the ability to proceed without providing same by selecting the appropriate option...Your decision to include one depends on your circumstances...hope this helps and thanks for viewing.

Hi...I'm not sure the reason why this is happening...but I just created a new account. The tax info page did take quite longer that usual to load but the page eventually came up...maybe you can try going back and selecting the option again. I used chrome. Hope this helps. Hi...this depends on how your regular mails are received...if your mail is normally collected at the postal office because you don't have a post box...then that's the same place your payment will be delivered...or if it is customary for your mail to be left at your doorstep well then it will be delivered in the same manner...hope this was helpful

Hi...if you registered for payment by cheque, you must meet the $100.00 US threshold before payment is made; however, if you provided a bank account number, there is no such requirement. The funds are deposited directly into your bank account. Therefore the ability to meet the threshold in the former situation will be dependent on the amount of books sold etc.
