These videos are huge BS. There are so many things involved in between and such depth in every corner you won't even imagine. You will waste A LOT OF TIME trying to do this. Setting up an Amazon seller account, Converting your book into Kindle technology, marketing your books on Amazon, and so much more is missing from these videos, guys. They are just trying to sell you apps and platforms through this and other such videos - simple as that.

This is just what I needed. I didn't know of this Book Bolt thing but I have a design that I can sell in different versions, I just needed ideas on the interior and exterior. I don't want just a generic low content book. Also, 20+ bucks in the first week is a good start, and your planner is really quite plain. With a little effort this might actually be a nice side hustle.

this not only looks super helpful but also fun to do. i've been trying to find a job for more than a year but i keep failing at getting one. rejection after rejection i start to grow desperate in trying to find a job. all i want is to just earn a bit more money so i (NL) can go see my boyfriend from a different country (UK) more often and build a future with him over time. there's lots i want to do aswell. so i've started looking into things that might offer me a bit of extra pocket money each month so i can treat my bf more often. and no i'm not planning to completely depend on this tactic to earn more money, that's a bit foolish. i still want to have a proper job with a higher main income since i like to design stuff, this sounds like a fun thing to do so i will give it a try soon

@@froggyjosh I actually have, I did a book a few years ago. What I found, is without a social media audience to drive organic traffic it's very difficult to market or appear in searches. I did some sales. However, I had some issues with it. It is very easy to make a book, so easy such that it doesn't generate maximum value. So, you need to cast a very large net and do a lot of marketing to make decent sales. I am sure there are some people who have hustled to do well in the ebook industry, but it's really competitive and the only real winner is the publisher. Still hope Mark gets back to my question. Would love to hear from those who have done will with ebooks. I have found other business models that have yielded me better results and provide greater magnitude of value, so I have pivoted to those.

Hi Mark, Good video. I am not able to understand the maths behind the profit. The average book prices on Amazon are from $7.99 to $11.99. As per the KDP royalty calculator the pure royalties range from $2.25 to $4.50- $5 max. If you run ads then the minimum CPC is about 0.5 cents (amazon suggests a $1). Avg conversion rate is about 10%. That means after 10 clicks (or $5) I might get one sale if everything is in place. How can one earn a realistic profit with KDP?

@MuayThaiLover Try it out. The easy ideas are already saturated. Finding a good idea that isn't already saturated can be hard. Maybe you'll hit on something.
