Amazon illegally busted the New York City union effort by firing and arresting pro-union workers. NYPD colluded with Amazon to arrest Amazon Labor organizers, telling them: “We won, you lost.” Amazon faces a serious legal challenge after union election votes are counted next week.

In a perfect world unions go on sympathy strikes for other unions. It is very disappointing when like unions do not go on sympathy strikes. However what we have here is something different, something that could be corrected with legal action and ultimately police losing their Union in qualified immunity along with it or helping other unions when help is needed. Any police department that sends their office out to break up a union protest or adversity affects their right to protest including their legal right to organize a union, they should automatically lose their union membership or at least have it be challenged. This is the opposite of union solidarity! The police should treat the picket line like the thin blue line they refuse to cross.

It's a matter of ever increasing wage slavery through wage stagnation and lack of viable jobs that enhance ones future prospects, and the rising cost of goods that these companies control through the lack of labors representation in government through the corporate owned politicians of both party's, and their selling out the majority which is labor, for corporate and wall street profits. Working on the warehouse floor or sitting at a desk you're labor, we have a tremendous power when organized, fight back.

As a member of the union whether employed by Amazon currently or not and meeting and talking with Union members, per our right to assembly, Chris Smalls was correct not to leave when the police tried to charge him with trespassing. Often the union employs organizers, legal aid, and other persons, who are not hired or paid by the company, are involved and hired by the union with the sole intention of serving the union members. Chris Smalls was doing just that...but was literally serving food to members as well.

Thats why they did what they did to me in Hou6 and no justice has been made, and not even the one agency that’s supposed to protect worker’s he mentioned first I contacted and got fired for it. The protection only lasted few months until the now in charge intervene again and dropped the claims, since then three workers died, this is why I reported like a law bidding citizen but look it up.. New Jersey. 😞

I lost my job when a union tried to come into a company i worked at.. we had 8 drivers.. they insisted on pushing the owner into court over and over. He gave up. Union won? we all lost our jobs Thanks local 425.
