Many articles have not reached me as soon as they promote, even when paying such a high fee. Then they don't compensate you for the delay, as advertised. And it can be delayed several days, from the committed day. Their prime benefits announcements are not all true. That is misleading advertisement.

Not worth it if you're going for the 2 Day Shipping feature. The 2 day shipping only applies when the item ships, NOT the day you order it. I tried the trial 30 day prime membership and out of 9 orders NOT one made it in 2 days. It was any where from 4 days to 3 weeks. 2 of the items were in stock when I ordered but somehow disappeared and I had to wait for new stock. Nor could I find anywhere on Amazon's site stating 2 day shipping applies when item ships not when you order it. Kind of miss leading with the 2 day shipping hype and not explaining this rule. I cancelled the trial membership.

The donating .5% of your order. If you do that you don't get 5% on your orders when using your Amazon Prime Credit Card (if you have one). . You default the 5% and you only get to donate .5%. You loose your 5%. I read that over a year ago on Amazon. Did they change that?

The student price rate is also applicable for people who qualify as a low income household. Typically anyone who qualifies for medicaid and disability services. I personally wish the digital media credit didn't expire in a small window, it would be nice to claim them all at once after a year or so, or have them applied towards the Prime Membership fee itself.

UK its 80 pound not including music. but also some other things are not available to uk people but you have to be careful using photo storage if you stop being a prime member that will end or you will be charged for that service by itself..

IF and I do mean IF you get the items and they don’t end up at the wrong address which happens more frequently than Amazon admits. I have about a 60% shot at actually having my items delivered correctly. So frustrating 😡 but if this happens to you stay on the line until you finally get an Amazon Logistics Supervisor. The others have been trained to and will give you the run around for an hour or so until you finally get someone that won’t make you wait 3 days for a so called investigation until they process your refund or give you a gift card for the amount of your purchase. I’ve had to drive and walk around my apartments looking for my packages many times.

I have been using the Prime VISA now for a few months. Being that I shop at Whole Foods and Amazon like crazy, its great. Cool metal credit card too. I pay it in full weekly as I check my receipts against it.

The UK being tiny, we get the option of same day shipping on some items and next day for most. Prime video has saved me a bunch of cash already - currently working my way through Elementary. Prime wardrobe is handy dandy. First Reads didn't move my furniture so i pulled out. Kindle Unlimited was slightly better than Prime Reading but PR is decent enough. I'll have to look into the credit card thing - see what the deal is here. You've inspired me to look for other benefits i may have missed. Totally recommend Prime too 👍

You download the Prime app on your phone. When you check out your items at Whole Foods, the cashier scans the barcode that was downloaded on your phone to determine what discounts you might be eligible for!
