Wow I am very surprised you didn’t know about Skull shavers, as I am sure they sold through amazon when first starting out. My hubby has used one for years, I believe he has the platinum shaver. They also make them now for women. 😊

I'm wearing my CPAP right now. If I need any new accessories I have to order from a company in Germany. The prices are horrendous😱😰 The hospital only allow maximum of 2 replacement requests per year. Now I know I can buy from Ebay/Amazon so happy😁😁 Great video as alway's!!!! Thank you 😁😁😀

@kalob hunt Jeez your insurance is really shocking!! Here in the UK we don't have to pay for any medical. Yet they still only allow 2 replacement equipment per year. My puppy chewed through my pipe & the hospital would not send a new one as I'd only just received a new one a month or so ago. I'm going to look on ebay & Amazon as I need a new mask. Sorry you have trouble's when you need replacement equipment 😔

Christine UK. Out of interest why do you need to replace things so often? I also use Cpap and my hospital ( in UK ) only allows one mask and filter per year and it lasts me fine. I also had the tubing for 8 years as it is really hardy and if it is cleaned well will last a long time. Maybe we use different makes. 🤷‍♀️

In my case, in Canada if you require a CPAP machine, the Ontario government supplies the machine free of charge through their ventilator pool, and they also give you $105.00 Canadian every 3 months for supplies, which includes filters, distilled water, hoses, masks or keep the money and buy nothing if you don't need to. But the local supplier for masks the hospital referred me to ( as when you get the CPAP machine it is just a basic garbage mask the leaks like crazy) the supplier charges nearly $400 dollars for a decent mask. I was able to get the same mask recently on Amazon for less than half the price. The only prescription required is for the machine, everything else you can buy from whoever you want.

@@bizzielizzie5078 My rubber lining around the mask split & the hospital (UK) said I had a new one that year. So, because of that they gave me a website to buy from. It's a German company. I could not believe the prices. Luckly I had another CPAP machine so I took from that to replace bits & pieces for the one I use. I will definitely buy from Amazon if I need to in the future🙂

I'm due my annual check soon (Lung Centre) & collect extra filters, mask lining's & hopefully a different mask all together (The one I use is from my other CPAP & it feel's too small) Your 3 monthly payments is a great system 🙂👌🏼

Not sure how it works in US, but in Canada only the CPAP machines are prescription. Hoses, filters, masks can be purchased. I recently bought a mask on Amazon with no problem, and I saw many more listed.
