I bought a BULQ Liquidation Mystery Box Valued at $1,632 + Full of Electronics - BULQ Unboxing

This is a video series centered around the experience if you were a first time buyer not knowing the business and showing the common mistakes YOU would make as a first time buyer buying from liquidation websites. Buying the correct liquidation pallets is not as easy as it looks especially if you are new to the business.

The MSRP should be on your manifest but you can see the price on the listing before you buy. But some MSRP is way off on some things. Example, one tube of Neosporin $140. Make sure you contact them on your damaged items. Thanks for the video!!

Thanks guys for making these and all of your videos I have seen so far. With the pandemic and being furloughed myself, I came across a bunch of videos on all kinds of people buying liquidation pallets. Most of the content I have seen from everyone have been maybe entertaining but not necessarily helpful. Nothing wrong with there content but not helpful. You guys to me give a realistic ROI which gives everyone a realistic view on what you might expect. Bulq does put the cost of each item on the manifest. You have to scroll over to the right. Also check the tabs of the spreadsheet. You may be on the wrong tab to see the price. Money can be made from Bulq but it depends on what you sell and on what platform. I have done well with an electronics lot from them. Currently working on a shoe/misc pallet that is moving slowly.

I have a 2.5 year old and an 11 year old. This box would've made me squeal! So much for them to color and drawn and write! During this pandemic, keeping them busy is key! Plus, I love the movie Willow. I play the theme song on my guitar when I tune up all the time!

Since mailing books are so cheap, I wold take a coloring book, stickers & 1 or 2 books and group them together in fun packs on eBay. Kids are needing things to do now. They are selling.

Hooked on Pickin buys lots of these Bulq boxes and have them shipped to them. They have pretty good stuff in it and they are making a profit even with shipping. New shoes, clothing, lots of lego etc. Maybe get a clothes or shoe box.

What matters is can you make a profit from these kind of boxes and the answer is no. Hooked on Pickin' bought a box similar to this one and they were lucky if they broke even. That's why she only buys shoes and clothes from them now.

Everything depends on where you live and what’s currently popular around you, I buy BULQ and make profit all the time selling in many platforms, but I only go for toys, clothes and baby items, I would never go for books because it’s super hard to resell around me and still make a profit, and many things can be bundled up, but like I said it all depends on different aspects:)

You have to research what their manifest says before buying. Started last May and have been making just fine money on Bulq shipments...buying Uninspected Returns and New. Research is the key.

I've purchased about a dozen cases of mainly Target kid's shoes and been happy. Now the negative...It's been 3 months since my last buy as they've jacked up pricing. In the beginning they would start most cases at 50% of retail, then do price drops of about 10% each week until sold. Now some of their cases begin at 80% of retail. Adding seller fees and shipping, you'll lose money by selling at original retail.

You never mention taxes, income or sales, for Bartons stuff. eBay handles collecting State and local sales taxes from the buyer and submitting them to your state and local governments. You can always have the buyer pay shipping. I've been seeing a lot less "free" shipping on eBay lately.

I bought a box (not a mystery box) from bulq of consumer electronics in January of uninspected returns for 315 shipped retail was 2300. As of now I have made a total of 30 bucks. Still have things listed but not very profitable.

I’ve researched Bulq like crazy and they are horrible about inflating their manifests. A lot of the time they will list $1 retail items as $12.99. They are just scammers.

You can usually find bottom of the barrel clearanced Walmart and Target items through bulq. It's usually pretty hard to profit from them from what I have seen. Possible if you find the right stuff, but those cases usually get bought up right away. A lot of cases will say something like men's and women's clothing and etc. A lot of times that etc part are things like gift bags, cheap craft items or cheap jewelry. They also tend to inflate their prices on some items. I've seen a 3 pack of deodorant on a manifest say it's MSRP was over $100. No way old spice cost that much. I made an account to look into them but I've never bought from them. Not worth it in my eyes.

I understand you say this is for new resellers so maybe teach them a thing or two. Should they look at a manifest and but a box with $1, $3, $5 items for online sales? Absolutely not. Should they buy and only sell on one platform and only online? You've said it yourself, never. Make a video about manifest research if you want to help new people, don't just buy a box of bad items for online sales and compare it to Ebay prices. It took learning but I make decent money every time I buy from Bulq now, they are my least favorite, but you can make money when you find the right stuff. Also, you've said it before about the 10% mark, you buy that low because you know MSRP is never anywhere near resell value, even on new product, so stress that also. Lastly talk about the % point for different conditions. I get returns at 5-10% but new for 15-30% and still make very good money.

For me I only can buy from a .com. I live in Calif, and so I do not have any local shops. I have done 10 boxes, and I have made a profit on all buy two. That was because in the box was mainly trash. I purchase from NV, and IN I try to not get to many from IND. THe shipping is way to expensive.

Clint, you should have asked your viewers about Bulq before buying from them. We could have told you what a rip off they are. I have never dealt with a company like them before. I bought from them a few times and only ened up with a whopping total of $156.83 in Profit. Trying to recoup the money spent is incredibly hard and profits are real low and a long time coming.

Also I know you say you are trying to show if you can profit for the viewers but when you open your usual boxes where you make $200-$300 you don’t break it down the same way. Mystery Box Valued at $1,632? Really? With most of the stuff priced on the item at 3 dollars, how could 100 items come close to 1600 bucks. These are mostly dollar box items. And you can't bulk 10 -1lb books together for 10 dollars and shipping would be 20.
