About the game at 8:51, the story about Chupacabra is a mystery/terror case very, very famous in Latin America (a least here in Brasil, in the 90s). It's about some kind of creature that were killing animals in the farms and sucking their blood. This is the reason for the name "Chupacabra", that means something like "Goat-sucker". Google results about it are kinda creepy. This is the most unexpected comment I've ever made on a youtube video lol

The Frozen one kind of makes me think of a possible reason why less girls get into video games than boys. Imagine you're 3 years old, and you get that as a gift. But the boy gets the one from Cars. Look at the difference between those 2! It's not that girls are less inclined to gaming, but they are given a bad first impression, and then society pressures them not to enjoy the hobby.

I wonder if the screen ripples because it’s actually a 16x9 screen with bezels that make it look 4x3, so the screen actually extends right to the edges of the d-pad and action buttons, occasionally getting pressed under the d-pad. That’d also explain the vertical layout of the action buttons.

Evelin is right, it’s a JungleTac VT. according to english wikipedia on the n-joypad, Diamond is a game from a company called "Nice code software", and after some googling, I stumbled across a wiki about bootlegs, I saw the name of the company changed multiple times, but I also saw this: "Diamond - Arkanoid clone coded from scratch; the goal is now to hit the diamond at the top instead of destroying all of the bricks. Three different graphic hacks of Diamond exist, all under the same name, along with a title hack called Blocks Array (VT02)." If one of the version doesn't show the HUD on the right, that would explain it.

Disney had a whole video game division for a while and their track record wasn't entirely solid but when they got perticularly great? They've made some of the best tie-in games out there, even kinda tried their hand at being a competing AAA studio for a bit before they bet their chances on "Disney Infinity" instead, to interesting results. I hope they're happy that when they trashed that entire video game division, they traded that for suspect partners to farm out wasteful, junky *tat* just because they wanted to put "Frozen" stuff on more things wether they're good or not. I almost feel like that's a metaphor for their creative choices once they decided they could just buy IPs rather than help foster more creative stories (despite many folks from within trying their best with the actual content) but I dunno, this makes me sad. @.@

I have a game and watch gallery that includes a game similar to “Spring bros”. The game is called Fire and you have to save baby’s from a burning building.

Haven't gotten to the part in the video yet, but Leap Frog is actually a really well known company (at least in North America) that does a lot of early-years tech stuff. Actually pretty quality as far as early years edutainment goes.

While not Gameboy killers these blow Tiger Electronics out of the water. Those screens are amazing! And your favorite pick does seem to have a lot of nice mini games on it. If you were on a roaddtrip or something and didn't want to run your phone down playing games, I could see this being viable. 10 year old me would have loved it.

My son has the Leap Frog Twist, and it's pretty neat, but it emits a TERRIBLE super-high-pitch tone that drives my wife and me crazy, even when it's turned off. Its like the high-pitch of an old TV that's on but not playing anything. The only way the tone stops is if the battery is dead. There is a platformer game where you help a sludge-type creature get off a spaceship that uses the D-pad and the three colored-dials to raise and lower platforms to guide the creature. Most of the games only use one or two control inputs at a time.

the dpad problem is similar to the switch pro controller dpad problem where if you hit the the sides of the dpad occasionally it will do an up or down input. Except the frozen dpad looked way worse than the switch one
