They are treated just fine. The internet are filled with liars. Look around for an actual employee and talk to them and you will find the reality is quite different from what the internet tells you. Bathroom breaks are NOT dis-allowed. Yes, all employees have an efficiency rating, yes going to the bathroom lowers it. But to be fired for going to bathroom you would have to spend unreasonable amounts of time in there. Working conditions in the warehouses are fine. Better than average even *especially* for warehouse work. Yes. Trust drivers piss in bottles. This actually has nothing to do with Amazon. ALL truck drivers piss in bottles. Most cities do not have public bathrooms. There is no where for mail or delivery drivers to pee because the city lacks public bathrooms. All amazon workers are paid $15 minimum. This is a very live-able wage. Yes a lot of people are on food stamps. HOWEVER. These people get food stamps because they have tons of children they can't afford. Amazon A. Isn't responsible for funding peoples mistakes. And B. Is only responsible for giving 1 person a live-able wage. Which they do. Food stamps exist for this reason. They exist because no one has any obligation to feed your children for you. Its not bad that a lot of people at amazon are on food stamps. Those people are NOT people living just by themselves. They are people that have put themselves in a situations in which they must care for others. And Amazon has no responsibility to handle that.

I am absolutely in love with the structure. Everything it stands for and what it will give to the surrounding area is absolutely spectacular and I truly hope to be able to see it someday in person. That’s probably one of the top reasons why I would ever visit the US. Not so much for the people, but for a lot of the experimental green architecture being strived for by leading architects who wish to combine beautiful aesthetics with truly green innovations. It’s brilliant that this building will actually be fully powered by solar energy. I really hope that more companies will take up the initiative to do the same for all of their buildings. Amazon may not be the most popular company right now with the level of extremely low taxes it receives and low payments for its workers, but in this case the text breaks are definitely worth the end result for this city. Once it is done the taxes can be increased again. That way both the city and Amazon can still benefit as they are sure to make very high profits from this beautiful new location. CAN’T WAIT 🌳

I understand that, but unfortunately that was inevitable wherever you are. And no matter who moved in, the prices would always go up. It’s not really their fault. It’s just an inevitable result of insufficient housing, but at least they are pledging to help finance the construction of more homes. And so long as people can actually move into them, it will be worth it. The amphitheater has been a feature of Crystal City for decades. I've been to a few concerts. It's separated from the Potomac River by bike trail and a scenic highway. Basically the western end of National Airport's runway. Crystal City was created to act as expansion space for the Pentagon. Nearly every building there is connected by underground walkways. It was extremely popular. Then efforts were made to reduce the footprint of the US Military by closing bases. Crystal City was a victim and has has stood nearly vacant for years. So Amazon got 'prime' real estate at bargain bin prices. Very few business parks in DC have their own Metro subway station.

So basically they are building an evil anime head quarter that will inevitably be breached by a team of teenagers together with a small weird flying plushy, all to save their friend who is being forced to make same-day-deliveries by Jeff Bezos himself. Every episode of the thrilling show will end in a cliff-hanger.

I think your comment is one of the most uncool. It is most uncool that Beezieboy pays his mindless sycophants to post propaganda online to muddy the minds of the world to keep his monopoly hyperdrive fueled with the souls of the poor. James 2:6-7 But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court? Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called? Proverbs 22:16 Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty. Matthew 4:8-11 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these I will give You, if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.’” Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to Him. Tell your master the Lord Jesus Christ knows everything and will keep disclosing it to the world.

In the UK one of our cities or towns had an Amazon warehouse offering jobs to the local population. At the start people were employed, and then promised work the next day, workers would turn into work to be told to go home. I try and find cheaper if I can and buy elsewhere, but sadly amazon have made it almost impossible to shop elsewhere, unless you want to end up paying a grand extra a year on products.

If they could stop using so much cardboard and plastic pouches. Then pay their employees a little more for their physical labor. I would be 100% with them. People don't realize how much they help business and create jobs; Amazon has revolutionized the modern American lifestyle.
@pulsatingsausageboy20763 жыл бұрын
@@christopherp.3307 The jobs they “create” are often times simply replacing lost jobs from companies they put out of business. Also, there’s literally no service they provide that you can’t get somewhere else. For instance, the same items you order from Amazon are sold on Ebay. Lots of times they’re exactly the same sellers. Difference being Ebay uses USPS and UPS to deliver packages. Both of which are more reliable and they also pay good wages and benefits. And their drivers aren’t forced to piss and shit in a bucket.
@thelonercoder58163 жыл бұрын
@@pulsatingsausageboy2076 No, it isn't. Funny most people who say this have never actually worked for it. $15/hr and great benefits. They pay for your schoolings after working their for a while so you can get higher payer jobs down the line in your dream field.
@thelonercoder58163 жыл бұрын
@@pulsatingsausageboy2076 You're ignoring the fact that ebay is full of independent sellers, while amazon has centers logistically all over the country, which means faster deliveries. It saves costs and time for consumers and sellers alike. I order from amazon and most packages come within 3-4 days and 2-3 with prime. With ebay sellers shipping from all over the country and world, it'd take 1-2 weeks to get my stuff.
