I understand why the electric saws are very handy for the price They start every time and having 400 or more extra cord is good for many reasons

I own and use 6 gas saws of various sizes from climbing to ground saws and I bought 2 of the little saws, different brands, they are great for quick pruning of small stuff.

I was thinking about one of these 6-inch pocket chainsaws! Pretty good review I thought, you covered all the basics and showed it chompin thru wood! Bit concerned about the burning motor smell tho, maybe its just burning off transporting oil or could be something worse?

Thank you. I’m not sure if it’s oil burning off or what it is. But it really does smell like a drill that you are working a little too hard. I guess time will tell if it’s oil burning off or something else.

Do you think any name brand batteries would fit that saw? I wouldn't mind having a tiny saw if it could take a makita pack.

I don’t believe you can us any other name brand batteries on this saw. It would be really nice if you could.

Don’t know where you are seeing that price. just looked its still showing 39 and change. They do have a couple that come with more batteries and a couple chains maybe that’s what you are seeing.
