Did you book these tours separately or are they all part of a package? any pros/cons of booking a package vs individual tours? thank you!

@@joydantongma728Hey, we bought the tours seperately at 'Manu Expeditions' when we got to Puerto Maldonado - they gave us a discount for buying them all at once. If you have time - we would recommend you do the 3 day tour deeper into the jungle - to Tambopata Lodge. Hope the helps! Have fun!

Hi we are planning to tambopata to see macaw clay licking is it possible to go from puerto maldonado without staying inside forest as tambopata Lodge costs a bomb for 2+2 comes to $1500

We did receive an offer to take us privately to the macaw clay lick, the 'Olaya Travel' (03:28) company offered to take us on a private tour where we could go deeper into the jungle without doing the 'Tambopata Lodge Tour'. Where did you guys stay in the jungle? And do you mind sharing the tour company website and the tour name?TIA

We actually did day tours. But if you want to go deeper (we would recommend that you do) then you should stay at the Tambopata Lodge. And the tour company we used was 'Manu Expeditions'. You can easily find them on Google maps. They were absolutely awesome from the start. (Try and get Leo as your guide, check out our other Amazon vlogs to see why he's so good.) hope this helps! Hey! We took the Palomino night bus from Cusco bus terminal. We were impressed with it (for a night bus!)

Sketchy parts of town?

We walked all the way from the bus station to the main plaza and didn't come across any sketchy parts, the people there seemed really nice. We were even invited into a church, where everyone was singing and performing in there too. Good vibes.

Next time you better take a hostel. Everything turns out to be a lot cheaper.
