Amazon Verified Permissions - Quick Start Overview and Demo | Amazon Web Services

Amazon Verified Permissions Quick Start adds role-based access control (RBAC) to Amazon API Gateway APIs with a point and click wizard. AWS launched a new integration with Amazon Verified Permissions, Amazon Cognito, and Amazon API Gateway that reduces the time developers spend on securing APIs using permissions based on user groups. Amazon Verified Permissions is a fine-grained authorization service that helps accelerate application development by decoupling authorization logic from business logic.
The Quick Start feature further accelerates application development by providing developers with a wizard to integrate Verified Permissions with their applications and APIs in just a few clicks. In this video, you will see an overview of the Quick Start feature and demonstration of the feature capabilities.

very interesting but pricing defeats the feature. it is just a mapping between an endpoint and a permission policy, i'd rather use dynamo and divide bills by 100 :(

Nice and good structured guide. I have tried it on my own but after clicking on "Create policy store" my CloudFormation deployment stucks with the status "CREATE FAILED" and the reason: "Resource handler returned message: "The security token included in the request is invalid". I am trying this with a root user. Has anyone an idea why I cant deploy this? Thx
