Fellow Vine reviewer here, hi! That coloring set actually looks pretty nice! As a bit of an art person myself, I was skeptical when I saw the shot of the product listing. But the markers are actually pretty nice, and that's a very high quality book with the one-sided printing and perforated pages. That's a good score. I'm happily Silver Tier myself, but I might try going for Gold at least once. Like you, I'm on a GLP-1 so your channel is pretty good fit for me! I'll subscribe.

When I first got into the program, there were no tiers and when they introduced them, I was grand fathered into Gold. It’s a good goal to strive for, but, I score some pretty decent items in silver. My next evaluation is on June 20th and I’ve only reviewed 36 products, but I’m at 94% reviewed…I hope they keep me! @@suz702 Oh, they'll keep you. Amazon is struggling to get enough Vine products reviewed. They're looking to keep people in the program, not kick people out.

Of the 4 reviews you chose, I would have voted for your review because it was substantive and focused on the needs of the consumer. The reviews I write are very much like yours. The funny review serves better as marketing to help the seller and doesn't inform the buyer of important issues with the product. That said, for people who want to join Vine, writing a review like the funny one might get them the helpful votes they need to get chosen for the program.

I’ve always enjoyed writing reviews, how about you? Such a cool reward for our efforts, getting invited to receive all this free stuff. The coloring book actually was pretty nice! Did you notice my green screen bleeding through and making the book cover look transparent? Editing is always a challenge, but fortunately the audience is pretty forgiving. Thanks for watching❤️

@@suz702 Yeah, I wrote several reviews a year before getting my invite and always liked paying it forward for others. After all, I've gotten some really great info from Amazon reviews. I noticed nothing happening with the book or the green screen. I think we've all gotten so used to issues like that we edit them out ourselves in our own minds!

I’ve been in the program less than a year, I have had about 4 or five reviews rejected. It would be helpful if they were a little more transparent in letting you know what you did wrong. At least two of the reviews were for products that the offered but the description was for something else. For instance: I ordered j-hooks for a squat rack for $36 and reviews them. It was rejected. When I went to investigate, the product description was for an entire squat rack worth $1600. That was never offered to me. I have reached out to them about this and another product with a similar issue and am waiting for a reply. Other rejections I have no idea about. They just say to read the guidelines.

The quota is still 100 and you have to review 90% or more of your items. I am dealing with that right now. I had 80 items reviewed and 93% of them reviewed. They only items I hadn’t reviewed is the ones I haven’t received yet. No gold status. If I ordered items daily my percentage goes down. So I stopped for a couple days and still no Gold. I contact customer service and I get an email saying I have to review 100 items and keep 90% of items reviewed. Which is going to be hard if they count everything ordered but just not received yet. Does anyone have any advice on how to keep my percentage above 90% but still be able to order multiple items a day? It’s not really fair that items not received is counted into the percentage.

Thanks so much for the info. I have been a Vine reviewer for almost 2 years; with gold status. Within the last month, 4 of my reviews have been rejected and I don't know why. So frustrating. I have looked over the guidelines and can't find why it is being rejected. this is the first time I have had reviews rejected. I am told to edit and resubmit. Any suggestions?

I did a real in-depth review once about a set of cookware I got. I thought the review was great, but it got rejected. I shortened it and didn’t talk about care instructions, like not putting it in the dishwasher, etc, and they accepted the review. I can only say dealing with algorithms is quirky. Maybe try trimming the fluff a little? But then, I don’t really know your writing style, so it’s anybody’s guess. Maybe someone from the community will chime-in. Thanks for watching❤️

@@suz702 thank you for your suggestion. Yes, it seems the more personal I make it, the more it gets rejected. However for over one year none of mine was rejected. I relly enjoyed your tips and info. I was wondering how long Amazon keeps vine members on.

Well, that depends….I recently got offered a 5lb bag of peppermints, that was hard to say no to! I may have bought a smaller bag, but now I have peppermints galore! I also recently got a cantilever umbrella for my patio. Not the top of the line, but fairly decent for the 89.00 ETV, and I’m in the silver tier. Most of these items are just being launched by the manufacturers.

Most of the items offered for review are new launches (new to Amazon), either a new vendor for an old product or a totally new product.

What can you really say about a flawless candle tho?? The battery life made me laugh😂 that would depend on the battery, not the candle.

If I find fault with something I'd be giving it 3 stars not 4. To me, 4 means that it met expectations, 5 means it exceded expectations. I have noticed that Vine reviews, as a group, suffer from "grade inflation"...if they gave it 2 or 3 stars, that is probably an honest score, but if they gave it 4 or 5, you have to actually read the review to find out.
