Hi, how can I optimize a listing that is not mine?? I’m kinda confused how you would do that when doing wholesale. I thought that you hopped on existing listings when doing wholesale?? Please explain, thanks!

To push through listing changes, you'll need to be the buy box owner. However, if you can get written approval from the brand that your changes should be applied on the listing, you can open a case with Amazon and submit the brand approval. It may take a few attempts to work, but this is one of the best ways to push through brand-approved listing changes. Alternatively and more ideally, as you build up your relationship with the supplier over time, you can ask for an exclusive partnership that makes you the sole wholesaler on Amazon. This takes time however to build that trust, but it's a great way to secure the listing.

Yes, you can use the same debit card for both your Amazon seller account and your Amazon Business account.

Hiya Max! you'll want to start with 10 ideas and have the top 10 competitors in each idea tracked. From there you can narrow the ideas and take a look at more of the competition in the remaining ideas.

Absolutely! If you are not selling something from an existing brand, you can go to a supplier, as we've covered before. If you are trying to re-sell a wholesale product like Bic pens or Energizer batteries, you can, but you have to have permission from the brand, whether they are big or small.

Yes you can. As you pointed out the listing is usually bare bones. Try sprucing it up using listing builder and keyword Scout

If I recall well I saw once a video for Jake talking about this topic telling to list the product as FBM to estimate the shipment fees but I am not be able to find the video.

Thr following steps show how to estimate the cost of using UPS for final delivery to an Amazon FBA warehouse. After you have created your shipment plan in Amazon Seller Central, go to the Prepare Shipment page. 1. Select SPD and UPS under Section 2: Delivery Service. 2. Complete Section 3: Shipment Packing, including the box weight (box dimensions are optional) and click Confirm. 3. Estimated shipping costs will be located under Section 4: Shipping Charges.

If your LLC doesn't come with one, you can always apply for one through your state. This should be pretty inexpensive too, usually free or somewhere under $100 total. While not every brand will ask for it, we'd still recommend getting one to increase your chances of success 🙂

Some things to consider: 1) All documents must be of good quality, legible and scanned in high resolution. NO phone photos, which are rejected. 2) ll documents must clearly bear the name and address of the applicant. If you are applying as a company, all documents must bear this name and address. 3) You must provide EXACTLY what they ask for. Do not omit any documents. In particular, the electricity bill (water, electricity, gas, Internet) is mandatory because it is the only proof of address that Amazon accepts. 4) If your documents are not in English, French, Spanish, Italian, or German, you must provide a certified translations sent with the originals. 5) All documents (except ID) must be less than 90 days old.

I’m guessing this program will cost about $10-$15K which is a small price to pay for a successful business. If you pay and fail you’ll be told you didn’t follow the program, your $$ is gone and they’ve made a hefty profit with very little expense.
