There is a actually a card called Disruptive Student that is a young Teferi when he was a student at the academy. Not sure if that counts in the same way but fun bit of trivia there.

Such a pity they didn't print Ral at all this time around (maybe he'll appear in the Alchemy set?), especially since he's appeared in the story way more than Tomik. They're treating the one planeswalker per set promise a bit too seriously, it seems. I hope they will print some day one of the story couples with the Partner with ability, it would be a flavorful thing. Maybe it will be easier to have Chandra and Nissa appear like that in some non-standard set, as they have predominantly two colors between them and wouldn't be overly powerful?
