I kinda get the Tempted by the Ring thing - both players poking light fun at it, and the designers going "we tried to give it downsides, but then it didn't play well - maybe you can think Legendary or being targeted by the opponent are downsides"

You do understand, that in paper you have 10000+ more cards available and some of those additional cards are totally busted in comparison to any alchemy card, right? Then what is the problem exactly?

When you play Brawl almost exclusively you’re going to see them everywhere. And not running the good ones is just intentionally handicapping yourself. That’s just the simple truth. I don’t like alchemy cards at all and almost never play brawl but I watch almost all of Amy’s videos and it’s obvious that some of the alchemy cards are basically autoincludes if you’re trying to actually compete. Poq is a stupid card but if you’re in green can you actually not run it (and others) and expect to get positive win rates vs all the other busted alchemy stuff? Probably not.
