I'm always fascinated with Ronnie's mind and what goes on inside his head.For all his enormous talent he seems like he still has those insecurities and doubts everytime he goes out and plays.He's always struggled with the demons in his head but he's given so much to snooker and it will be a poorer game when he eventually does retire.

I think the scene is good because we come across two people who know their craft intimately, and it’s always refreshing to hear the insight of talented, obsessive people. Jimmy is himself worthy of the spotlight, in fact the documentary has been done on him, and that story is also fascinating. But they obviously saw something in each other and a friendship grew, Ronnie became a sort of prodige to Jimmy, as Jimmy did with Alex. Anyway, ya and there both geezers init.

Brilliant documentary and showed perfectly that the reason Ronnie is regarded as such a genius is how he has to be on-the-edge all the time to play that way. Without that edge he wouldn’t be the player he is.

I really love this scene and it can be hard to describe in the detail. Whilst the opponent is with his own thoughts, believing he is in a driving force for the game, up against a pure legend of the game, you're there fighting your own corner for success. Ronnie the greatest of all time, with all his presence, awe, quality and experience, sat there with another pure legend of the game. To come up against one legend, a strong opponent, with another legend routed in his corner, wow, powerful! Just how these two are, their relationship, the pure form of this documentary and to be sat there knowing everything they have between them, but Ronnie always chasing perfection, they won't put it out on the table and say I have X, Y and Z, they will always want more, underplaying their achievements. I wish this was an entire series, with more episodes! Please can you do more Amazon?

People forget how good Jimmy was. They talk of Ronnie having natural talent but Jimmy also had it in spades. He could play any shot. He won loads of titles, just never the big one and the more times he became runner up the more it became a monkey on his back. Six.times a world finalist is an amazing record in itself.
