For all the users of kuat nv 2.0. Over time, I’m starting to hear creaking noise when bike is loaded. Do you also have that? Thanks.

Surely a rack manufacturer will find a way to incorporate lights and number board to their product, having to Velcro strap a board on is a right PITA or risk a fine. The overhang measurements also should be built into their website. Probably most are not that compliant but still available for sale.

Some of manufacturers do have integrated options for a plate and lights. But depending on the design, a light/plate board has better visibility as it sits on the outside of the bikes. Or for some brands, it's just not necessary in their country of origin. It's a frustration for sure! Overhang is wholly reliant on how a rack sits on a vehicle, with what's on the rack. So yes, a rack manufacturer can give you rack dimensions, but you'll need to use your own vehicle to extrapolate what the overhang will be. based on your wheelbase and where the rack attaches.

My Giant Trance E doesn’t fit on the Tranfer v2, otherwise seems decent

Great review. However, if you can show the Beta with 2 mountain bikes on it I'd be thrilled. Just picked one up and it doesn't fit two bikes unless you remove the frone wheel and strap the handle bars parallel to the frame. Not impressed for what I just paid

As we said 'you will want to check this with your own bike' given the need for internal space on the frame. A false toptube may work, but typically hanging racks of this type only suit gravel bikes and open framed hardtails.
