I don’t mind the washing and drying part but it’s the folding that I absolutely hate 😩 it usually just sits on my couch for 2-3 days becoming mount foldmore before I do anything about it 😂

I identify with your video! My 4 children are all grown up & on their own, but I remember when we lived in an old, 2-story house similar to yours that had the W/D hookups in the basement. I gathered up the dirty laundry every other day & tossed it over the upstairs rail, sometimes the clothes rained on hubby's head while he was hauling it all down to the basement. It was a pain but I was grateful that we had a dungeon-like basement to store all our dirty clothes, it's easier to do laundry when there's plenty of room for the mountain of clothes, even in a not-so-pleasant basement. I was fortunate enough to have a pulley clothesline, which I used religiously (I'm a firm believer in clotheslines whenever possible). So I had to put the wet load of clothes in a basket, haul it upstairs, out to the back porch to pin it on the line, reel it all back in a few hours later, lug it upstairs, fold and put away. Day in and day out. Strangely, doing the laundry is the one chore that I've always enjoyed. I found it very relaxing (especially if I had a clothesline). Now it's 40 years later, my children & grandchildren live thousands of miles away & I rarely see them. I live w/my elderly, widowed father, he lives in an area where no clotheslines are allowed, the laundry room is cramped, my bedroom closet is small & dark, I still enjoy laundry, but I miss the old days with kids and space and clotheslines. Wish I could go back!

I just uploaded a laundry routine yesterday. One of the selling points when we bought our house was the upstairs laundry. I did not want to lug baskets up and down stairs. Laundry is my least favorite chore.

I really don’t have a routine, I just wash when needed which pretty much falls on a Friday/ Saturday when in cleanup. You got it done..great job and video! Thanks for sharing

When my dog was a puppy she now 5 calming down on it but she be the one always I have a missing socks and I always had do this way before KZbin videos came along lol and it been best for me to sp the clothes and I love it and watching other videos while I clean see if anyone else do it different

Yes! One of my favorite things is being done with the laundry day for the week! Such a good feeling. I miss putting the soaps into the water before washing. We have the dispensary cups now. And hangers are life 🙌🏽

I still use dreft stain remover as well and will probably continue long after my children leave my house. I have tried several name brand, popular stain removers and to say I was disappointed, would be an understatement. Dreft gets out literally everything. There hasn't been a stain yet that dreft hasn't gotten out for me so far. As for the other stain removers, shout being one of them, had a very hard time even getting out food stains.

lol, i don't hate laundry, however, when i do it, i have to be in a zone, to wash, dry and put away. if not i will wash and dry, and overflow my baskets with clean laundry until i am ready to take them upstairs to fold. my only two irritations with laundry are the two in one out issue with the socks, don't know how it manages to happen, but two go in, and only one survives the wash and dry. the other is i fold my daughters laundry ( i have two), i have them put their clothes away, and almost every time i go to do laundry on a weekly basis, i see in the dirty clothes pile in front of the washer, clothes that have not been worn, and some still folded mixed with their dirty clothes!!

I hate laundry, but if I let my kids do it things magically go missing. I had to put laundry on a schedule just to stay on top of it. I have a basket for socks that I leave in the laundry room. They just match and grab a pair.

The laundry sanitizer stained my husbands white shirts! I put it in the proper receptacle so I don’t know how this happened, there are big blue splotches on his shirts now. Has anyone else experienced this?
