Thank you for sharing your story! I had pulled my twins out of public schools their freshman year in 2021, and homeschooled due to all of the things I was hearing. I didn’t realize the impact just having them at home was. I was busy with a toddler and a newborn. I was so overwhelmed! I had put myself in therapy and put one of my twins in therapy at that point. They put me on antidepressants, which just intensified my emotions. I decided that this is out of my control and I wasn’t fully trusting the Lord. I prayed for the Lord to help me make a decision. I went to the school they were zoned for and there was a small sign next to the office door as I was leaving that said “In God we trust”. I knew at that point that was it. They had to go back. We had already paid the tuition and bought all the books for homeschool, this was not refundable. But I had to put my trust in the Lord to protect and restore what had been broken. I have more to tell, but God showed up above and beyond anything I could’ve done. Their faith is stronger than ever, and they share it with everyone they meet! We need more Christian students in our public schools!

God tells us not to associate with those of the world. Your children are now being taught lies. They have to believe lies that go against Scripture to pass through school.

Thank you, Pastor Allen and Amber Gray for this uplifting, hopeful and edifying podcast! How wonderful to hear of all the seeds sown by your children, Amber bc you were courageous and trusted the Lord! Amen! It is an excellent 'how to' book to all parents that wish to be lead their children to grow up in the Lord and live into their godly assignment! I TOTALLY agree about the perfect prayer of protection that Psalm 91 provides to those who will pray it daily. It was a timely gift from the Lord to me and my family in 1990 just prior too my hubs departing with his Navy squadron to fly armed missions over Iraq in 1991! Every WORD in this psalm applied to what he encountered! I prayed it often with many of the wives whose husbands were deployed to built their faith and assuage their fear! You have done a great service to all those families who read your book, Amber and shared the Bible study you and Corey led. They have been blessed beyond measure by your steadfast faith! Thank you for doing the podcast with Pastor!

What a beautiful story. Amber, you have such a strong faith. I thought your children would find a way to endure the school day. It was more, so much more than just enduring the day. They were the light. To hear how your child encouraged and renewed the faith of her teacher was amazing. I think, as Christians, it has been hard to watch our way of life be attacked here in the US. It makes us weary. The older teachers are trying to hang in there until they can retire. And then you and your children come along and inspire the school community a person or 7 at a time. May God continue to protect and bless you and your family. God works in mysterious ways. You have shown us what is possible by praying at home.

I was a single parent, not by choice. When I noticed and confirmed that drugs were infiltrating the schools when I learned that there was a school program that promoted a program that when successfully graduated these students and which helped to prepare them to meet the challenges of today. They All three worked part time to full time jobs and developed a healthy responsible background of skill sets that helped them through into their adult lives.

IF I had it to do over again, in a divorce situation, I would keep my children in one place and not try to "find a comfortable place for us to live." I would divorce, due to physical abuse and my children witnessing the horror, but I would keep my children in one place. Hind sight is 20/20.
