There's a reason Heartland has been around for so many years. When the world is going crazy with COVID and war, it's great to just calm down and watch Heartland. The people who picked the actors and actresses for this show did such a great job! Thanks Amber and Graham. (By the way, Ty should come back to Heartland sometimes in someone's dream.) Best wishes to you both.

I loved Amber and Graham’s podcast Part 1. The only thing that made me sad is that God wasn’t mentioned at all. I pray both of you have God in your lives. The only way to have true contentment is to have God in your lives. The only way to get to God is to have Jesus in your life. The Bible very clearly teaches this. I love Hesrtland. It is a precious show!

...and grandpa. It will be different to see Amy with someone else when that time has come, but as Amy (Amber Marshall) puts it, life is always changing and sometimes that change does include death. The thing that confuses me is why the writers are having Amy Tear down a home that her and Ty were going to building together for their family. T hat is like tearing the family completely apart upon his death most people move on and continue living in their home why not continue building the home that was Ty’s dream? Stop Tim from tearing it down before it is too late. I know for fact that loved ones can return here and there, what better way to live on with Ty than to live in the home he and Amy dreamed about for themselves and their daughter Lindy.

So refreshing and inspiring to hear in these times young voices such as yours, who sound genuine, grounded, spiritual, considerate, mature, and emotionally intelligent, especially being from the show business industry where unfortunately too frequently we see otherwise. I admire the fact that at such young age you both cared enough to conspire into delivering us a decent, respectful, and lasting love relationship between Amy & Ty, and take us into the journey through their different stages of life. That takes wisdom, courage, and integrity. You set an example because your decision elevated your characters and story line to another kind of higher level. Delightful entertainment. No wonder Amy & Ty are a most beautiful couple and so dear and loved by many. Thank you for the legacy in HEARTLAND, your talented heartfelt performances. Congrats! And keep it up.

Graham, I so agree with you both about audio only, and I've just learned this. With video, the sense of sight is engaged to watch. then my mind might wander to "oh, that's a nice shirt" or " her eyes are so blue". So then, sight and hearing are involved. With just audio, my hearing was fully engaged. I closed my eyes and not only heard you, but actually EXPERIENCED what you were saying!!! To Amber, my hubby and I raised chickens also. and they were a complete comedy show!! I always threw them my supper scraps. One time, a piece of lettuce landed on the back of one's neck. That chicken turned her head completely around, and picked it off!! what a show! So Amber's sharing that brought me right back to that moment. And our other animals all interacted with each other. And they all set their own boundaries. I love your podcasts, Graham. I pray that you and your guests will be blessed in everything your hearts set out to do!! ❣️

What intrigues me about all of this is how we as fans get so close to you guys in the show it’s like we’re part of the show’s family. We feel everyone’s character , we feel their sadness, happiness, disappointments, anger and such. So when you left the show we all was broken and completely forget that it’s only a show, not real life. That only proves of how well the show is and that’s a reflection of your work on the set. We need more shows like this, this a real true family show. One thing I remember one thing when I started watching was how beautiful Canada is and spent so much time trying learn more about it. I’ve actually thought I’d like to take a vacation there to see it in person. I hope the show goes on for many more years to come, sadly that Ty won’t be there but I don’t want to see the show end. Blessings to you both and thanks for all your doing. An Indiana fan ❤️

Don’t stop watching a show just because 1 main character decided to leave to pursue other options. Death happens in life and it’s going to be a good year by seeing Amy raising Lyndy on her own and having her family around and see Amber do more with her sister, grandpa, her dad and her nieces. Plus a new girl coming on to play Jades Half sister. Sounds like it will be a good year.

Listening to Graham Wardle speak, I am struck by how much more intellectual and spiritual he is than the character he was asked to portray. I have worked as a screenwriter, and my own gut reaction is that the show's writers were unworthy of the talent with whom they had to work. I would have been frustrated, too! It's nice to see, now that Graham is free, he isn't wasting his free time. God Bless! I look forward to seeing what comes from him in the future...

I’ve really enjoyed Heartland over all, but those poor writers were definitely not prepared for the show to go as long as it has. The show overall is decently strong over the years, but only a couple characters have shown actual growth and an arc (I’m thinking Tim and maybe Georgie). It’s understandable that Jack isn’t going to change much because that’s who his character actually is.
@afwalker192110 ай бұрын
For my own amusement, I took the Heartland storyline as seen in hindsight and rewrote it. Ty rides away on his motorcycle, never to return. Amy's romance is with Mindy Fanshaw, and they're happy. Shane swims in the pond and is drained by giant orange horse leeches, causing him to drown. Amy deserves peace and quiet, and perhaps some good chocolate...@@Es24688

I love this interview and you talking about the impact of Heartland. I enjoy so much the peace it brings me in such a chaotic time. The story lines give me hope, joy and faith. I love the beauty of the horses, the character depth and story lines. I too love the beauty and reverence of wildlife and nature. I feel a fierce need to protect these things that in the US where I live gets so lost in the shuffle.

I’ve found the answer for me as to why I love the show so much. It brings out the possibility of the essential goodness of people. Amber personifies this on screen but also in these podcasts. She is always looking out for the feelings of others, people close to her and her fans. Ty will be missed, but Heartland will go. I’m greatly looking forward to Season 14. At age 77 and married 55 years, I’ve lost both sets of parents, best friends in peace with COVID and at war. So season 14 should bring the reality of life into our home in another. This is a truly remarkable show.

Podcast with Graham and Amber, part 1, very enjoyable! I agree with comments toward the conclusion, audio only allowed the content to come through without the distraction of visual imaging. Easy to listen and appreciate the content as spoken. I also want to compliment both Amber and Graham on the quality of their voice and content. Rare it is in broadcast of any type for the speakers to be free of "lazy" speech, that is the frequent delays of extended and repeated "uh...'s" or "you know's" and other meaningless filler phrases. Both Graham and Amber have a rare talent for clear communication in the English language. And they don't both try to talk over each other, nor try to finish each other's sentences. They are easy to listen to! I look forward to part 2.

I sat here and crocheted away yet missed nothing...I could related to much of what you said. I love watching animals especially birds and watching their coming and goings how they relate to their own kind and others and hearing their cheerful call, and then I see someone walking down the street head down noticing nothing...or a group of friends walking together all looking at their phones. It baffles me that people walk around in a bubble while everything around them is moving and yet no one notices. Thank you for a glimpse into who you are as people and not just the characters you play. Wish you all the best Graham in your next chapter.

I was raped repeatedly for years, my dad left the day I was born, and I've been in a lot of abusive relationships and didnt have a very good sense of family. Watching heartland always made me wonder at ty and Amy's relationship and how they really worked together and trusted each other. I'm fifteen now and am learning to hope and trust a little more. Amber and Graham your relationship on Heartland reminded me of my relationship with my husband. I met him when I was 18 he was 25 we got married when I was 19 and were married for 34 years he was the love of my life, we raised three beautiful girls. I lost him in February of 2021 due to complications of Covid. Graham you remind me of my husband, Rod, and Amber you and I have a lot in common i grew up with 4 brothers and a sister I was in the middle and I was a tomboy dolls were not my thing. I love being outside and taking care of the few animal I have I would much rather live in the country great podcast

Love your show. You are an amazing interviewer. Loved see Amber and you together. I’m a huge fan of the show we are on our second time through the series. I’m going to skip the ones where Ty Died. It broke my heart. I tear up just thinking about it. You do a wonderful job with this show.

Great podcast, Graham! I am a disabled senior citizen, and I started bingeing on Heartland from the beginning, and the Heartland family is one I would have loved growing up. The writing is amazing. You and Amber are amazing actors! I will miss your character, Graham, but I wish you all the best on this podcast or any other endeavors. I am now a subscriber! I cannot wait to hear Part Two! I am in the US and cannot wait until season 15 of Heartland comes to us. This was such a beautiful podcast. Thank you.

I just turned 69 years old today and the best birthday present would be able to see the beginning of season 14. But sadly I’m in the United States and there’s no way of doing that. My heart is breaking. I love this so so much there are no words.

Thank you for this podcast. I heard that you both did a podcast together and I had to hear it. Heartland is "just TV" but the life lessons rolled up in the show and the way you both bring it all to life, is quite realistic to my life experiences. Almost every story resonates with me. I traveled to the other side of the planet as my wife supported me to do so for six months - and I would do the same for her. As you capped off this podcast with the message on "love and respect" - that was the perfect point to get across as we live in a world where there is less and less of this. Thank you Amber and thank you Graham. I love discovering that you two are more than actors - but have awesome philosophies and words to share. May your futures continue to be successful - from Tennessee - Michael
