For those saying Amber doesn't have soul while singing this song, you need your ears checked. Technically Amber is singing this song more soulful then Demi's version. Demi's original audio of this song is obviously still pop. And soul/jazz originated from Africans. If you listen to Amber's tone. Definitely more soul than Demi's. I personally enjoy Amber's version more but proud that Demi made this song. Demi definitely sings it with more "emotion" but not "soul". Two completely different words and meanings. And Demi is truly inspiring for writing a song like this. And for performing it with more emotion (it's her song, obviously she has more emotion and is in touch with this song more than Amber) both good singers however. I just prefer Amber's soul and technicality here.

DAMN! She unquestionably did this better than Demi. Just listen to the clarity and openness of those F Naturals. And her lows were so warm and audible. Ehhh, the G#5 wasn't perfect, but it was still pretty darn awesome. NOW we just need Demi to get on the same track. This was so nicely done. Best rendition I've heard.

+L.e. Kevin Demi is more of a mezzo soprano I believe. Just how in comparison to amber's voice her voice is darker and heavier. How Amber hit the G#5 like it was nothing. Demi usually hits it and doesn't stay up that high all the time. Though Demi very much has the range , like, the same notes a soprano can sing. The quality of her voice doesn't fit all the way into soprano category :D
