For what it's worth, that scene in the opening ceremony didn't even depict the last supper. The first shot of the scene kind of looks like the last supper, but that could be said of a lot of paintings depicting a bunch of people around a table having a meal. But none of the unique characteristics of the last supper match up with that scene: the figure in the middle is wearing a crown, whereas da vinci explicitly drew jesus without one to depict him as a common man, there were around 20 people at that table, versus the 12 disciples depicted in the last supper and none of the poses even matched with the poses of the last supper. It was just a bunch of right wing grifters crying wolf...
