Vanilla is native to Mexico from the region of Veracruz, it was exported and successfully planted in Magadascar, but the origin of vanilla is in the Veracruz forest.

Yes, makes sense, but I think they made an industry out of it in Madagascar. You rarely hear about Mexican vanilla in Fragrances, but usually always hear about Madagascar vanilla. 😀

I actually bought the Lune Féline extrait for my mom's birthday. She's an absolute vanilla amber lover and she's head over heels over it. It's very similar to the EDP just less animalic and more vanilla-forward. Beautiful stuff. I might steal it once in a while!

Oh yea, this may be my favorite genre for fall and winter. Vanilla ambers and spicy ambers are hard to beat. I need to try Amouage Material. I've heard a lot of people recommend it, but I never remember to grab it when I'm sample hunting.

Oajan is beautiful, one of my favourites. I do find Khaltat Night from Attar Collection to be very similar, but a little less masculine which makes it a bit more wearable for me though Oajan is smoother and maintains the ambery dry down much longer. Eventually KN just becomes spice... but it takes several hours to get there.

Get a hold of Sunnamusk Golden Dust. The edp is awesome but the fine oil is really good. Damn good. Its where Golden Dust shines imo and Sunnamusk price their oils very fairly, much more so than their edp presentations.

Initially I would say I cannot do amber prominent fragrances. They are just too heavy for me, like in Lettre de Pushkar by Ella K. But while I was watching your video I realized how many of the mentioned I own and don't consider amber perfumes. I guess I can do them when in conjunction with other notes. I am wearing Oajan today 😃.

Yeah, I think they do need to be beef fear. I think it’s just a general case with a lot of designer fragrances, although there are some Dior Privee that are pretty intense like the vanilla Diorama so unfortunately, I don’t know why they keep doing that.
