It's so great to see your videos, its like a breathe of fresh air. You have such good intentions with your horses and actually know how to care for them, which I wish I could say more often for others. All of your horses are stunning!!

I’m so glad to see all the horses you’ve ever owned retired, so many people get rid or dump horses when they’ve “done with them” it’s so awful.. like did they not mean ANYTHING to you except being a rosette winner??? I don’t think I could ever do that..

I grew up with a Welsh Mountain pony, he was amazing. I've been riding since I was 18 months, my dad was a breaker. I'm now 42 and I have been in the racing industry for 26 years now. I enjoy your videos and love watching your horses. Nice to see an Aussie chick making quality equine videos

Hey Amber, I love your channel and your horses! I remember you did a short video about how to keep enjoying horses and not making it feel like a chore. Also keeping horses low maintenance, and laying down foundations so you're not scared to just jump on after a break. Just wondering if you could do a longer, in-depth video describing that, as I (and many other equestrians, I'm sure) struggle with losing confidence, horses feeling really high maintenance ect... Anyway, I love your videos keep up the great work! ❤

I love your shorts all of the sass lol So had to go look into your channel. I joined because you seem like a down-to-earth horsewoman who truly loves them, not just what they can do for you. All of your horses look so well taken care of which is hard if they are thoroughbreds lol ( I have an easy keeper QH lol can live on air, he doesn't lol but he can ) And even the Welsh gentle man looks like he does loathe to admit it but loves you. Look forward to seeing more.

You obviously love your horses very much and doing everything in your power to take the best care of them!! When you mentioned Ollie was put on steroids, my heart flinched a little. I can imagine it caused behavioural issues and it must've caused you a lot of pain to see your horse go downhill like that. Looking back on it now, what are your thoughts on that treatment and the vet who recommended it?

Winnie looks so much like a horse I rode 3 years ago on an eight day trail ride in the high country. He was a grey warmblood clydie named Elmo. Same height even had the tiny snip on his nose. That trail riding place closed down a few months after my ride and sold all there horses, I wonder if Winnie is Elmo
@amber_matthews10 ай бұрын
Probably him! He was Elmo from high country horses, he was then sold to the owner who I bought him off 😊

So you keep them at your house or by your house? I would love to know I live in the states, but I also live 15 minutes from New Jersey and an hour from United States equestrian team, and the horse park of New Jersey. My goal is to have my own barn again I rented before I’m always curious about peoples journeys on how they house their horses, I have a two-year plan for now. My son will be in high school, so trying to set that up for us to be moved when he starts.

Your sooo young,,, u really need to talk to me honey,,, I can help you. I don't know where u are, but, and your crazy if you think your going to change the industry, I'm a licensed international equine appraiser,,, and yes the goal is to make them live forever, I have 2 right now, that I have had since they were 2, they are almost 25, I have been training since I was 5, veterinarian school at 17,,, school sooo I understand, and this video u have up I have a video I made in 1996... Were u born yet, oooh and I'm a equine rescue,,, sooo. I'll send you the ones I can't handle anymore, stop yourself and take breaks, don't let your heart over think your brain. I've always said true hearts beat like horses, one hoof at a time. Thank you, don't cry for the ones that are gone love the ones that are here,
