Thanks a bunch Amber. These Mastery Challenges always evaded me. Did one or two before but never got past bronze, didn't care for them too much so ignored right through. I tried this Raven one just before now on two attempts with just enough points for bronze and one last artifact to collect....the one in that last room and just couldn't figure out how to get it. Anyway, long story short decided to come search for a KZbin walkthrough to follow and found yours so much more well explained and easier to follow. So I quit the one I was stuck at to follow yours from the beginning....albeit very very slowly but surely, pausing and proceeding along the way right through the end. Guess what?.....GOLD!!!!!!. My very first Mastery Challenge Gold. I feel so happy I could cry with joy. Thank you so much. I bookmarked the Mastery Challenge Playlist to do some more later. Cheers.

Gold achieved 🏆 Only issue I had here was a few time when I entered the rear courtyard and assassinated the guard from the tree (before moving round to wait for the two guards to finish talking and move apart) I would be spotted by someone. Never sure who but fixed it by waiting for the guards to start walking back towards one another before I moved up the tree-based on the timing in your video. Cheers Amber 👍🏻

this one was good because you don't have to kill every single guard with no errors for the gold. there's an extra ledge kill upstairs and plenty of opportunities to do air assassinations. i liked it 😎

I sincerely hope that the next AC has even more difficult Mastery Challenges and I hope they're the first completed piece of the game...so the entire team can use them to highlight system weaknesses like enemies falling into space and landing under the building I'm standing on, thereby forcing me to start the attempt over.

At the end you could just take the lift up and assassinate the last guy from behind because you don't need any more air assassinations or ledge assassinations unless somehow that guy falls like it did on hers. Usually he won't fall and that will be your last ledge assassination so

Great video. I have a bit of a difficult time with ledge assassinations so I finally changed it up a bit and go inside and did the other two. Came back out and then went up the tree without investing so much time only to blow the ledge assassination on the left. I have the exact same haircut as you on my female Eivor. It's more like rl.

@@amber-gaming I did it a million times and even though I got the platinum trophy, I never used ledge assassinations except a very few times. Love all of your videos and so far I have gold in Wenlocan, one in Lolingstone and trying Oden Mine Raven. I keep getting spotted dragging the body away in the second section. Just have to keep at it.

These things are SUPER buged for me. Cant tell you how many times I had to redue, not only this one, but ALL of them just because the stupid AI was janky. Some times the first ledge assassination guy turns around and sees me killing the second air assassination dude. other times the last ledge guy SOMEHOW spots me or a guard in the second guarden area isnt where hes suppose to be and again, sees me. T_T I just want to complete this old womans quest line!!! Also, thank you SO much for these vids! they have helped me emensly!

So if you want where that artifact is on that statue that jump is a little sketchy with the guard right below, what I do is take out the guards on the outside first the exact way she did it, jump down and then chain assassinate the other guy and then you can crawl thew the bush to the gaurd on the inside, assassinate him and then do the chain assassination to the guy standing in the doorway that would be under the statue. That way your guy doesn't drop the smoke bomb. I don't think it matters either way but just how I did it

Yeah it’s actually insane how bad this game is. Like I could never have imagined it, it’s so bad you have to see it with your own eyes because words just can’t describe it… got it first try thanks to this video but out of 12 challenges this and one more are the only two challenges that went pain free😵‍💫 all the other levels where just absolutely infested with bugs. And when the bugs don’t happen the guards usually kill each other so it makes gold unobtainable🤣

That other guard actually climbed up in the tree looking for me after the two air assassinations. Luckily I saw him looking around for me but I was able to get to him first. Only time that has happened. The other times I immediately made a hard left before the column.

Ubisoft should really leave this to the Hitman games. In this mode you are almost always ruined by the luck of the load, because the enemies won't always load exactly as they should. So sometimes you even get spotted on the first drop because the other enemy just happened to load looking your way and won't ever look away. This has ruined my tries on the one you kill from the tree at the back, the guy you later kill with a chain throw is simply looking his way and will of course spot me right as I drop with no chance to chain him from there 🙄

@@amber-gaming Yeah. In the Hitman series everything works like clockwork, and it must, because of the several ways you can take out/neutralize targets you can't have a single guard/civilian/target spawn in a wrong position or looking the wrong way.

What's ridiculous about these challenges is that 9 outta 10 cases, even if I do everything right, mostly I end up with only silver regardless because these challenges are bugged as hell. The bear ones are the most frustrating ones. Sometimes these idiots end up killing each other or themselves by running into fire or off a ledge or whatever, which means they don't count as my kills so I miss out on these points. The raven ones like this one specifically? Guards won't stop talking to each other, one that wasn't there before literally suddenly appears right in front of me and detects me, one time one of 'em literally phased through a wall and saw me. I stopped trying for gold after a while. These days I just watch guides like yours because I don't have the nerve to put up with stupid door riddles in an already frustrating challenge. On that note, thank you for this guide.

I just used your Lolingstone Bandit Raven guide hoping to get a silver as i need one more silver for the Tutelage of Hildiran quest. It was my first attempt at the Raven and your guide was so good i got a gold lol. Off topic but are any of Hildiran's weapons or armor any good? I'm pretty set when it comes to weapons as i usually wield Gae Bolg and the Spear of Leonidas. I've got Excalibur, Hero's sword, Blazing sword, Soldier's Flail, Blacksmiths Hammer, Scale Carver, Varin's Axe, Housecarl's Axe, Lagertha's Axe, Sepulcher Axe, and probably my favorite weapon, the Balhrafn Bow, an awesome hunter bow. Sorry for the ramble, I'm just curious if her gear ever becomes worth getting if you've already tracked down some legendary weapons? Thanks for your amazing guides A Train!
