I got this bow in a low weight because I wanted to have something very relaxing and that my friends could try and pull easy. I got a 30@28" - 38@33". I modified the handle because it was too small, so I removed the leather handle, glued some cork thin sheets overlayed, sanded them down to mold the shape, tied a leather mushama like shown in Saluki's faq. And it's my most shot bow in 23. My 50 lbs and more expensive bows are watching and crying in the wall stand. Enjoy your bow, it's wonderful!

What a beautiful comment. Thank you. I'd love to see a pic of your handle. My BLSTang is by far my most-shot bow as well this year. I did not put it down for months, hence the video creation break! I was shooting during my free time. :D Thank you for watching and commenting! This video was special for me and a long time coming. 🙇😎👍🏹

@@ambidextrousarchery we could tell it was a special bow for you and that you are enjoying every bit out of it. I don't have pics of the process, but I can post tomorrow a picture of the end result in asiatic archery group.

I am sort of close-ish in Carthage NC! Though only about 3x a year for about 2.5 weeks. I recently received a custom Yuan Mongol style hornbow that I'm psych'd to try out when I return in 10 days. I hear you though - I had to get my friend into archery just to have someone to share asiatic archery with. Very nice bow.

Yuan Mongol hornbow! Awesome! Yup, I share my experience online with the archery community and in person by teaching middle-school kids at school in “Why Archery?” quest classes. I began my journey when a student asked me if I’d introduce an archery class, and I dove in without knowing anything. Initially, we learned together and got in touch with Armin shortly after that. Hooked. I’m interested in a pic of your Yuan! Thanks for watching and commenting 🙇🏻♂️🙂👍🏹

Very cool, man. I got into it during the Covid lock-down and quickly it became a passion. I've got videos here of both my Mariner and AF Yuan style bows. I am definitely going to upload another once I get my hands on the hornbow so that is coming soon for sure.@@ambidextrousarchery

Hey, I was watching an older video on the alibow Tatar fiberglass bow and wasn't sure if you were still answering comments. So I figured I'd ask here as well. What were the exact specs of the arrows that alibow suggested for the fiberglass Tatar bow? (I have 35 pound at 28") much thanks

👋 I replied to your message on the Tatar thread. I’ll get you more info tomorrow. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Quick questions, what's your draw weight and your draw length? What arrows did you end up getting for this bow?
@ambidextrousarchery11 ай бұрын
I usually draw this bow to just under the max of 33” from between 31.5” to 32.5”. The draw weight at 32” is an average of about 44#. For arrows, I first purchased Pinals Archery Furious 500-spine carbons and weighted them to the bow by inserting hanging wire into each arrow shaft with appropriate nocks. Currently, I am using Linkbow Archery carbon arrows with 450 spine, 32” shaft, and 33.5” from tip to nocking point. I also used hanging wire to get the correct weight for the Linkboy carbons.

@@ambidextrousarchery Thanks for the info. It's always interesting to see different methods people come up with to address arrow weight issues. Hanging wire is new one to me.
