ambient_03 add9: guitar, count to five, h9, microcassette, electromechanical

Sunday afternoon ambient vibes. A chord from Audio Damage Quanta is recorded on to the microcassette, then played back as a bed for the track. My DIY solenoid-Arduino-hammerthing provides the rhythm through a Koma Field Kit, and an Airline Stratotone guitar to Count To Five pedal to H9 provides the meandering. All in to an iPad Pro running AUM for the mixing and recording duties. Bram Bos' Rozetta Rhythm provides the MIDI for the hammerthing, and various Audio Damage plugins sprinkled throughout.

A TASCAM 4x4, but honestly, it's kind of not very good for this context. It loses connection a lot, and you don't want to have that happen on stage. My recommendation would be an iConnectAUDIO4+. Not only is it super solid, connection-wise, but you can actually hook two devices to it and pass audio between them. (Laptop and iPad, iPad and iPhone, etc.) amzn.to/2pO655Q The 2+ is also fine (I have one of these, but it only has 2 inputs, where the 4+ obvs has 4.)

Wow, that iConnect looks nice, and it has MIDI! Thanks for the info! It's crazy how good the audio stuff is on iPad these days!
