Another excellent video. Thanks Brent. I've been playing around with Metaphysical Function for a few days. I think I'm in love.

You have some really awesome videos! Thank you for these! I have had the Komplete 7 bundle for sometime and have always avoided Reaktor. Lately I have been getting in there and experimenting and all your videos in here have been fantastic for giving me a better understanding to get creative. Thanks again!

Glad you liked it. And you're right--it can get overwhelming. Sometimes it helps to work within strict confines (for example by limiting yourself to one or two ensembles) to keep that feeling at bay...

brilliant video, I will definitely be having a go with this technique. So much possibility with Reaktor, it's pretty overwhelming!

Instead of going with the FastFX combo, you could simply record the output of those generators, chop / assign to pads in Ableton & play the repeated sections. A bit easier and more controlled IMHO.

Hi Brent, Love your videos and this one is great as always! Question, I have Komplete elements, which does not include Fast FX, and I've tried but havent come up with an alternative from the Ableton Live 9 Suite tools which I do have. Maybe you can think of something? Thanks!

Excellent! I'm having tons of fun with this trick. The only problem is that I sometimes get clipping, like a clicking sound at the start or end of my loop. Any idea how I can stop this. Thanks.

well stop making more videos tempting me to try other ensembles then!! ;) Just reading your Operation Limitation post on that note actually, must give Scenario a go, perhaps with loops generated using the Metaphysical Function/FastFX combo. Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos.

what +Seth B said... i was thinking the same! Instead of another addon (Fast FX) inside Reaktor you could just record some simple automation with Reaktor itself.

this is a great video. I'm definitely going to use this for making some interesting loops. This looping reminds me of Four Tet's looping. Check out his FM In Studio interview... totally awesome "Four Tet In The Studio With Future Music"
