Thank you so much!! I ran through 10 Reaktor Tutorials in one day! It helps me a looooooot!!

Thanks so much for making these man, words cannot say how much it's appreciated. If you have the time I hope that you can continue to make a few tutorials now and then. You have the best presentation style for the concepts and ideas and you take things at a great pace. Keep up the awesome work!

I'm glad you're enjoying them! I'll try to put another one up soon, been so busy recently! Any suggestions as to what I should cover?
@QuantikMusic10 жыл бұрын
Peaks Definitely understand the time issue, no pressure at all. I really just want to restate how helpful these are though, you've done a great job. Hmm suggestions, I'll just fly by a couple of things. How to build a basic sequencer, how to build wave shapers, how to build phaser/flangers. Additive Synthesis is always cool as well as wave table synthesis. Or you could talk about core technology a little. Multi tap delay with tempo sync would be nice too. Just a few ideas anyway :)

Peaks Actually another cool one would be some Autechre/Aphex Twin inspired generators/sequencers.

the ability to move a loop region of a sequence while it's running...this is amazing

Just a small little addition, but you can create a 'measures' knob at the second modulo by adding a multiplier and multiplying the input of the knob by 64. Just a nice little additional bit of control.

Thanks man! That's a good idea...

+Peaks I'm wondering if there is a way to change 'Max' value of Add Module according to the value of the Multiplier value (x times 64). When x is 1, 'Max' value should be 64, but when x is 4, 'Max' value should be 256 ideally.

Hey Peaks, not sure if you are reading the comments here, but anyways. Just a shout out, i've loved your tutorials they finally made me get into reaktor and not bounce off it like all the other times i tried. Would love too see more Reaktor-toots in the future! Maybe some tutorials on sequencers?

+Kvart Glad to hear it's inspiring! Trying to find some time to do more toots, so I appreciate the suggestion. Reaktor 6 toot is coming for sure.

+Peaks Reaktor 6 tutorials would definitely be appreciated. Cheers.

Built this in 5 minutes. Played with it for 30. I LOVE it thank you!

Thank you. I hope you found it inspirational!

This is great, is there a way to have a dedicated knob for the length of the sequence? it would give so much hand on control over the length of the loop and then toogle loop and free.

Very awesome. Very smart. Thanks for the upload!

Any chance you would be able to make it downloadable? :)

That is really really cool. You tamed spiral!

Actually, it does not work for me when I try this. I have reaktor 6, has anything changed? I copied your macro it seems to be the same. I dont know the values for the Add knob. (its -1 - 1 by def) Any ideas?

Nevermind, set modules to mono, and it works.

Hello there very nice video. Also your beginner lessons for reaktor are also nice. I tried to build the sync offset macro but for some strange i can't get it to work for me. Is there a way that i can contact with you and send you this macro or could you post your version in a link? Thanks

From what I can see this no longer works with Reaktor 6. I'm digging a bit deeper to check what is going on.
@ashesh03267 жыл бұрын
okay, as Last of Bunnen G pointed out, this can be fixed with turning all the modules inside your SyncOffset macro to mono.

THANK YOU! I was trying to figure this out for a long time haha

This is fantastic and makes Spiral much more usable for leads as you say. I'm not enough of a math wizard to understand how to build that sync offset device so is there any possibility you would make your edited version of Spiral downloadable?
@hantg110 жыл бұрын
corposenzagambe I ended up building the sync offset device myself. It wasn't that difficult except everything had to be set to "mono" before it worked for me. Getting lots of nice grooves out of Spiral now so it was worth the effort.
@davidm0210 жыл бұрын
corposenzagambe set all components to mono with rightklick on it. It sets the colour from yellow to orange, you can see it at the right lower corner of the moduls

Thanks for that mono tip, could not get it working before I read your comment.

Thanks guys !! Now i want to add this tip "Just a small little addition, but you can create a 'measures' knob at the second modulo by adding a multiplier and multiplying the input of the knob by 64. Just a nice little additional bit of control." looks intersting.

where is sync offset? Any chance someone could email (or post) the hacked 'Loop Version' of Spiral. Previously I always had to re-sample audio from Spiral into loops- but this is way better.

When I was taking the Jitter class in Berklee, I was 90% complete on creating a 3D spiral sequencer with actual sound samples, not MIDI, meshes made in Blender and imported in Jitter to create the world etc. But I didn't have enough time so I settled for something simpler. This was the an old alpha prototype, you might remember it: youtu[dot]be/sq_dtz6pYtw - Yiannis
