This piece is the second track that will contribute to a full bass and effects album to be released on Bandcamp later this year.
This is the first time I have recorded with the Line 6 Helix Shuffling Looper. It’s a great looper that can you can tailor to any of your requirements, producing all sorts of interesting effects. I also used various Helix effects such as Glitch Delay and reverb with Strymon Big Sky, Meris LVX, Earth Quaker Devices Arpanoid and EHX Pitch Fork in send & returns.
All sound was sent to Cubase using the Helix as an interface. Two paths were set up in the Helix patch, each being sent to a separate track in Cubase. A tiny bit of Valhalla Supermassive was added on a send in Cubase.
All equipment used was purchased by me. There is no sponsorship in this video.
