huh, that seems very strange. I'm sure its more to do with the motor speed of your cassette player rather than the loop itself

how do u record on a tape loop? everytime i try to there is like a one second gap if i want to record over the tape loop.

Best is to use some masking tape covering the cassette hole where the erase head of the tape player makes contact with the magnetic tape

Put your tape on the other side.

You may have the tape (that sticks the loop together) on the wrong side and it's hitting the play head
