This is exactly the kind of music I listen to every day, I really love the ambient textures here. Still looking for that sweet spot with sequencing within Maschine vs a full Daw, loved what you did!

Thanks. Its never going to beat something like Ableton, but its amazing how fast you can make something due to the workflow.

@@crybo yeah that’s always the catch but most of the core stuff can be done just not the transitions and extra layering due to cpu consumption. I still find it a great way to get started!

Love when people use Maschine or MPCs for something that isn't hip hop or heavily drum-based music :D I'm working on learning Reaktor so I can get a little crazy on the Plus, at least, unless NI nerfs loading Reaktor like they recently did Kontakt on 1.4 -_- Anyway, thanks for sharing!

nice piece. I find the m+ a dream to use with just the occasional glitch. using your Peak template on the M+ so thanks for that too.
@crybo3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes I still have audio glitches but easily remedied by going into settings and turning the internal/external knob. Never used to get that glitch until they did an update to solve that very issue and that’s when I started to get it. Go figure! Glad you’re using the Peak template, such an amazing synth!

Nice to see that someone else. He doesn't just do Hip Hop with this machine. Be careful with distortion clicks when recording, are there any that can happen

@@crybo my pleasure mate I use maschine mrk 2...how do you find the standalone version mate ?
@crybo3 жыл бұрын
@@71collective I feel it makes me more focused in finishing tracks, as I am just using it on its own. No distractions from the computer and using a multitude of VSTs. Just concentrating on the tools available to you on Maschine and re sampling. I was an original Mk 1 user from 1.5 and always loved the workflow. Went to Ableton and Push, which is still superior, but I love just sitting away from everything on the couch with my Maschine.

@@crybo totally agree mate ...was a propellerheads reason user ...then ableton...maschine 2 ...before that had a lot of outboard gear and an Atari st ...last couple of years I’ve been going back to outboard gear without a computer...I looked at the standalone maschine + but opted for the Mc 707 to partner the TR8S..the 2 of them work well together though😁👌

🔥🔥🔥 nice! Got an M+ arriving today. Question I would be super grateful if you could clarify - I'm still pretty new to the NI platform - i see that there are some expansions that are not for standalone mode but yet they contain massive patches. Why would I not be able to use those massive patches in standalone? Thanks for any insight - I'm still trying to understand the architecture of the NI paradigm 🤯
@crybo Жыл бұрын
Thanks!You can copy any massive patches you want onto your SD card.

So what it basically means when they say "Please note, PRISMATIC BLISS is not compatible with MASCHINE+ in standalone mode." it mreans I cant just load the expansion into the Mashine+. Instead I can open up on my laptop and then grab the massive patches I like and drop those in - do I have that right? Thanks! @@crybo

WHAT PACKS ARE YOU USING AND HOW MUCH ARE AMBIENT SAMPLES FOR THIS MACHINE AND IS IT EASY TO USE ? Thanks Troy nice one
@crybo2 жыл бұрын
It was just a drum loop, all the other sounds are from the synths that I tweaked on Maschine +. I did another video showing how I did the pad sound with FM8 and the FX in Maschine. The actual Maschine I feel is very easy to use once you get your head around patterns and scenes. The workflow is very quick and intuitive. A lot of it ends up muscle memory.

@@TP_LANDSCAPE_PHOTOGRAPHY the software only comes with the hardware. I don’t actually use it with my computer, I only use it standalone.
