🦈 Ocean Aquarium | Underwater Ambience with Peaceful Music for Study, Sleep, and Relaxing

I am 81yrs now. Very tired of the pain, anxiety and negative I'm surrounded by. I will be returning Home soon and cant wait. My sweet dog, Izzy, is waiting for me, I'm very excited to see her. Every note, every keystroke, the entire spectrum of carefully crafted sounds all flowed into my mind and I experienced a sense of calm beyond my expectations. A much needed calm as my thoughts moved away from negativity down a new path, though still far from happy. Memories from the past came flooding back to me, many of which I wished I could erase, but they no longer seemed so unbearable as the time of complete loneliness had passed.

I was institutionalized once. There was a room with no windows. It was a small 10x10 space with no lights except for the blue glow from a tv-screen behind a pane of glass. There was a wooden chair in the center of the space. The stale air was filled with subtle sounds of water and the image of swirling fish. It was the only place that gave me piece in that hell scape. Thank you for this. Thank you for peace.

Water just brings people together. We drink it, swim in it, bathe in it. From the day we’re born to the day we die our lives are full of water. Our bodies are 70% water. From drops of rain to large oceans it surrounds us. Water is known to have a calming effect especially since it’s blue which makes people feel calm and relaxed. If I had to choose and element I would choose to be water.

I live in Atlanta and recognized the Georgia Aquarium immediately! I often go there to sit in front of the massive tank and listen to an ocean-themed playlist I have. Love that you made this!

I’m from Atlanta too! I used to go there for my birthday every year. I was fortunate enough to volunteer there in high school - now I’m about to graduate from college in fisheries science! I’m so grateful I was able to spend so much time there.
