You know what, on a second (fortieth, lbr) viewing, the very end of the AMV really hit me. The whole span of the video, we see every competitor, some part or highlight of their story, some ambition that keeps them striving to be as good as the others, to make a name and feel accomplished. They define themselves by their performances and scores, using that as fuel to carry on. And it isn't until the absolute end that we see Viktor, who looks to his ring shining in the sun, that we see his ambition. He has had the gold medals and top scores, but as the only player out of the game, as it were, his quiet footnote has more depth and honesty than any of the other stories told here. I gotta be honest, I am really tired and kinda peeved because I am having a hard time articulating exactly what I mean, but I am just really impressed with this whole AMV. I couldn't wait for a less foggy mind to express my regard. Dis some damn fine shit you got here. I am impressed.

I love how you played with the ambition meaning in the end and how the whole MV looks very unified in style, although many visual effects are used to create it. It's beautiful.

saw it for the first time at sakuracon 2017 and i keep coming back, idk how many dozens of times i've even watched it now. every time i get to about 2:22 in this video i start grinning like mad because the amount of masking that went into this vid is freakin wild and it's so goddamn smooth and just beautiful to look at. thanks for pouring your heart into this amv, the effort really comes through in a big way

This is just fantastic! Honestly, I was hooked from start to end. The song threw me for a loop because I had listened to the newest Glass Animals album so many times when it released, and was thinking, "How is she going to work this song together with Yuuri on Ice??" but holy crap, you completely owned it. Wonderful!!

Saw this at Fanime and the audience got a kick out of this! This song's moods and hilarious lyrics works well with the show's theme (and sensuality, really this song works for Yamamoto's style lol). Gorgeous editing and footage use, they all flowed smoothly and nothing was jarring. Anyways I like how the amv starts and ends with Viktor - the skater all strive to be like; then at the end it shows him satisfied with where he is now.

Honestly, I rarely watch YOI AMVs due to the fact that there are so many but GOOD FUCKING LORD, this was absolutely incredible. Every second was so creative and well done and there isn't an ounce of laziness or a moment where your editing faltered. It's so stunningly gorgeous with its effects, masking, zooms, everything. This was a very, how do i put this in words, enchanting video. I can't quite find the right way to say this but your video was delicately edited. The ink/water splats flowed so well with the video and gave it a unique and almost dreamlike feeling to it. I loved the scene selection and your timing is just amazing. Everything flowed together seamlessly and just left me feeling a weird sense of surrealism and awe. I really can't pin point what about this video is both soothing, inspiring, and dramatic. Its like a painting coming to life but not??? I really can't get my thoughts around this amv to make a coherent review. I've just watched Mahoupocalypse and this, and... I feel like this rekindled my passion in editing. I still love to edit AMVs, but through the past two years, I feel like I lost the drive to better myself. I had an inkling, but now I'm sure that's what's been happening. Between that and the fact that I don't have as much time as I did when I was younger, I forgot the fun in finding new ways to express my editing; I forgot HOW TO do that, to experiment and try the most ridiculous things to get at least close to the effect (not just visual) that I wanted. Maybe I'll go back to feeling lethargic tomorrow, but for now, this really made me rediscover my own love for editing. As an editor and a fan of Yuri on Ice itself, this was a delight to watch.
