As a Polish person, the fact that a major game like this with such a big community will be adding our country into the game and our heroic defence in 1939 is really cool! there just isnt any games that show the Polish defence in 1939 and im very happy to see that the devs are adding this representation

It is certainly ambitious and I am very excited. I do like the emphasis of quality of life improvements and bug fixes for the first few months over additional content as there have been a lot of those plaguing the game for awhile now. Squash those bugs and then move on to the good stuff. I’ll have to keep a closer eye on things in the future.

I think I can speak for most people that have significant time in this game. Their absolute first priority should be addressing the years of bugs/glitches, broken systems and bad meta. You see anything on there as a good faith gesture that they are going to sit down and analyze the data they get from their "analytics" and prioritize fixing long standing bugs/glitches? If they were confident in their abilities and their "analytics" system, then wouldn't it make sense to give a gesture of intention to address top issues that matter to players? Just shotgunning General Bug Fixes all over the board does not give that any clarity or any faith of intention. I also don't see anything on there that gives a indication that they plan to address core system issues or meta changes? They said they were looking at different artillery pieces to be more historically accurate. Ok, so they didn't listen to players there. Thats one of the big gripes with gameplay (and the loop). They said they were focused on new features and content. Also a red flag and does not give the impression their priorities are in order. They managed to dedicate space for merc store, ingame store, DLCs, skirms and ridiculous hand gestures nobody cares about. Oh they know that shit is coming for sure. There are a few good things in there (If they happen) but I feel like they are still out of touch with what matters to players.

I agree that bug fixes should be among the top priority, lets see what the first 'health' update on April 5 brings in terms of fixes. As for the meta changes and solving the arty issue. My preferred solution is make artillery barrage a commander ability and bring in deployable mortars with shorter range and produces a smaller explosion on impact. These mortars should need some form of ammo supply. Perhaps supply crates could serve as ammo for the mortar, 10 supplies per mortar round for example that way a support player could drop 50 supplies which allows for 5 rounds of mortar fire. A 150 supply crate from a supply crate would provide ammo for 15 rounds.

@@IronHeartGamingYT Fair enough. Im just way past accepting vagueness and platitudes. I want a solid concise plan and clear intentions how to achieve that plan from them. I just feel like they are flying by the seat of their pants on some of this stuff and maintaining a vague stance, without providing details, is just not a great tact out of the gate. We got that for years. We are not that far apart on our ideas about mortars. It would just have to be a sensible system that takes into account possible exploiting scenarios.

The Finns also had a gnarly 20mm AT rifle which will be fun to use against early war Soviet tanks (assuming we get large aka normal sized maps, not just small maps with the Finns vs Soviets)

im sorry but if they add a new game mode with smaller maps its gonna cause a split in the community which could lead to servers being full or not full enough better to keep it in its current format if you cant play a full game then tough luck i personally dont see the issue with not being able to play a full game anyway

I disagree. Why would it split the community? I really like the idea of new game modes which are objective based. Who doesn’t want to recreate the Brecourt battery assault? Or other cool scenarios. It opens the possibility for more options down the line like tank only battles and other interesting stuff. None of which will mean we can’t still enjoy the full scale 50 vs 50 battles.

Skirmish mode sounds awful. The long huge battles is what makes it so unique. Now they go in the opposite direction. Instead of smaller battles they should try to make the current battles even bigger like 100 vs 100 players.

@@IronHeartGamingYT Why not integrate the skirmish/objective mode into the huge battle mode. Send squads to destroy entrenched artillery guns or capture/destroy ressource nodes with explosives. This could fix the current annoying artillery/recon loop.

I can tell you how many battles I've been it that I've had to leave because they last the full 90 mins. Smaller maps with no tanks seems like a good idea for those 30-60 mins games.

@@KorbinX Maybe this game isn't for you. Why ruining this one? The longer the battles the more tactics and strategies can evolve like big flanking maneuvers. Shorter battles just makes the game more casual. There are games like COD and Battlefield for this out there you know.
