This was not the show broadcast internationally. It was from the rehearsal concert on Friday night. The picture has a reverse image. The actual show was the following night. He had gotten a haircut in the meantime. But in both shows he was in remarkable vocal shape. The last half minute is something to behold --it's semi-operatic.

First off you have the most beautiful eyes 😍😍 Second this is the wrong video. This is from the rehearsal concert. When he sang this at the actual concert he hit a full 3 octave at the end. 3rd this song is about losing the person you love and this was right after his wife left him

Just before this concert he separated from his wife Pricilla n started the divorce process. I was at this 1973 concert n was in 3rd Row center. He was really handsome in person. I have listened to him since 1956 n still do everyday. His music gets me thru some bad days. Thank you for keeping Elvis music alive.

Yeah, they were living apart by February 1972 and EP filed for divorce on his birthday in January 1973, the divorce became final in October of that year.
