like everywhere in the world, it depends on the money you have to buy your lights... SAMU ambulances and their medical equipment often cost more than 100 000 €, so they can afford 5000€ in lightning...

Those ambulance have generally better lights because the respond for more "important" medical emergencies than the fire brigade ambulances
