Ambulance Strike Team Deployment to Lumberton for Hurricane Matthew October 14, 2016

An Ambulance Strike Team is a group of EMS resources that assembles to deploy to disaster areas to provide EMS support. It can be to provide aid for the disaster itself, or to help with everyday 9-1-1 calls in the area.
Today an Ambulance Strike Team deployed to the Lumberton for a 5 day mission. The team was assembled by EMS agencies from Durham, Franklin, Johnston, Orange, and Wake Counties. By partnering with multiple counties, each EMS system is able to maintain normal coverage in their home counties.
