Love the videos and watching the progress. Congrats on your sobriety!!! I just hit 3 years sober and just bought a 4x4 ambulance to convert into a camper/motovan. Named it the Amblow (it's getting a breathalyzer) your videos motivate me to keep going in sobriety and with my build

wow, great stuff man. and congrats on your sobriety! loosing people that aren't good for you is good for you. I have been watching a lot of the van and ambulance builds, someday would love to get one and take my Travel show on the road. But I don't weld so couldn't do all you are doing. Stay cool!
@YachtShopCreations5 жыл бұрын
Thank you David! The welding part could be done by someone else if you are comfortable with fitting it out the rest of the way, We will show all the tricked out ways to make a really coool rig so the learning curve is something you won't have to deal with. Your are able to see a lot of different ideas as you know by searching the web, there are many great ideas, I hope you have great luck with your channel and do hit the road! Be well, Jim

Dear Jim, A most interesting as well as inspiring work with Aluminium sheeting ( provided one is good with welder!!!). As for your reminding us of your dedication ( very moving & heartfelt from within I am sure) to remaining sober, ( which incidentally I saw that clip at the time) is all the more remarkable & heartfelt congratulations on you overcoming all manners of losses & still be upbeat in spite of the setbacks. Whilst you may have lost a great deal of "friends" ( real or otherwise), I am sure you'll recover with interest & dare I say of higher calibre too. Rest assured I'll keep rooting for you & may you continue doing what you do best. Kind regards.

I am always happy to hear from you, you never fail to write something thoughtful and for that I am eternally grateful. I hope I didn’t miss the mark too much when making this statement during a regular video shoot. I was simply trying to add a level of encouragement to others out there who might need it. Yes I’ve been through a lot more than some and not as much as others but I find great happiness each morning in waking up and enjoy life more each day. I have been blessed since my accident with being able to do some of the most amazing work and travel to some really wonderful places and meet some incredible people. I think the change in lifestyle made this possible. That you again for all the encouragement I receive from you as I will continue to do our best to put out strong content. Jim

@@YachtShopCreations Dear Jim, Thank you very much for your courteous reply. I figured your personal statement was with a view to help & empower other folks who might have experienced something similar to your case. Taking a philosophical approach one could conclude that your early downfall was some sort of saving grace in disguise. At any rate I am delighted to hear that your former lifestyle has contributed to your new outlook on life with a very positive effect by the sound of things. All the very best my old fruit. Kind regards.P.S: Strong contents; are you not taking things a trifle too far??? It is a family show after all!!!

Nice work Jim, I learnt that pattern idea 23yrs ago when I left school and work in a boat building yard in New Zealand, I used the idea again last week when I lined a ceiling in a house in walnut veneer, came out mint! Hope your doing well in 2022? Cheers

I used to be a big time beer drinker. I haven't had a beer in 16 years. It finally took a DUI for me to really hit the bottom. I too lost a lot of so called"friends", so I thought. They were not really friends. When I no longer had beer in the fridge, they were gone. Most of them either died in auto wrecks, suicide, health problems, jail. etc. I now just have a handful of buddys, which is just fine with me.
