If you hypno someone saying they were rbed it shows the message, but if they're a role like sheriff for example that gets a message as the night ends "your target is ns" the message will still pop up. In other words targeting people with the escort message is completely useless. A play that I like to do is when GF is jailed to hypno someone that they were attacked and healed so the jailor isn't sus as to why there were no kills that night.

I find hypnotist only reliable using the roleblock is when you roleblock a mayor to confirm yourself as an “escort”

Hypnos is amazingly! Claiming trans almost always works and if you claim doc, you can tell gf not to kill for a night and hypno to confirm yourself.

role blocked is useful to do it to roles that don't have any actions or dont do actions frequently like mayor, doctor/bg (as long as their target isnt attacked), retri, vigi etc.

*sigh* I'm losing more and more interest in Town of Salem because of the games I've played recently.. I was jailor, and jailed someone N1, asking for their role. They didn't claim, and only said, "If you kill me you're dumb" So I jailed him again, and executed him. He called me a baby ass for taking 2 days to execute him, but I didn't say anything. I got attacked by the SK and Mafia that night. The next day, it said that he was the DOCTOR. Then, he went about, saying ,"Sigh, we could've won this game if jailor wasn't so bad" Thankfully, some people understood me and told the guy to stop; but some people disagreed and called me an idiot jailor. Hmmm.. maybe it was because I played Classic.

It was because you played Classic. XD Playing Ranked Practice or All Any is a lot better (people are smarter), though in Classic Town of Salem as a whole you still can run into that problem quite a bit. It's even better if you have Coven Expansion, people tend to know what they're doing if they paid for the game.

Ah- well I'm currently saving up to get the Steam version and Coven Expansion, I can say I agree that people in Ranked Practice are way smarter (or, well, *better)* at the game.

With 2 Hypnos you could’ve “transported” two different people and someone would’ve claimed transporter. They would get confirmed essentially because they were transporting two people.

Probably the best use for a hypno is to throw the whole town upside down and like n3 or n4, have someone "attacked and protected". Someone who's been sus getting attacked and healed with no confirmef doc in the game is an easy way to make the town think that person is someone with a defense. It helps especially if the godfather doesnt attack so there are no maf kills that night.

Skimm, if there was two Hypnos couldnt they both "Trans" someone and then one of them could claim Transporter and put those people in their will? Then the other hypno could claim doctor and at some point "heal" someone. I think that would work, the other hypno could just say they transed themselves with the other person. Technically that could be a good play

I enjoy Hypnotist TBH. Mainly because u can confuse every town member and even get a jailor to confirm you if you're lucky. I would say Hypno is the best mafia role.NOTE it's my opinion

using "attacked then healed" at the right moment can really save a single mafisio/ gf from getting jailor executed if they survive the next day, plus like Skimm said, if you have two you can basically confirm one of them as trans, and maybe the other can take invest or sheriff to further show them as inno, as long as neither of you die it's perfect

Two hypnos is great if you eliminate spy, 1 of them claims trans and both plant trans memories. The "transed people" will think they were transporter and you will be "confirmed" The other hypno could claim doctor and you can say you transed a mafia member, don't say mafia member say their name.

Uncle Kracker's version is just a cover, though it involves Dobie Gray in the singing. It's way older than 2003...Dobie Gray's recording of it was 1973. (can you tell I like the song? XD )

So TPS, I just started playing today. 5 games in, 2 executioners, 2 jesters, 1 sheriff. Died first night as Sheriff, but town won. Won first game as Jester, Lost executioner, lost second jester game, and won second executioner. convinced my kill was the SK( they were doc) on 3rd day. Lots of people just voting to vote.
